Cyalume 9-3012509G Cyflect PT Belt with Velcro Swatch, 1 Patch, 5.5' Length x 2" Width, Green

It's very difficult to find this version in stores but was exactly what I was looking for.

I like the belt allot, don’t get me wrong…but….I gave it 4 stars because I feel like the Velcro is going to tear off every time I pull it apart. I think a better method of securing the Velcro would have been a super glue type adhesive and an additional sown-stitching for extra support. All things considered, it practically glows in the dark once it’s been exposed to any direct light source for any length of time, even if it was only a few minutes. It’s a bit more than I’d have liked to pay for a piece of plastic belt, especially when there are belts out there that are about $8 (bucks) or so that basically do the same thing. The only difference is this one has Velcro and nearly glows. So having said all that, I’d have given this belt 5 stars if it were a little more durable in terms of the Velcro and it was about $5 (bucks) cheaper.

I noticed that during evening and nighttime exercise routines, cars were getting a little closer than I was comfortable with. Despite wearing a high-vis shirt, I think they just weren't seeing me in time. After remembering how all the Army folks run around with those reflective belts on, I figured I'd look for something similar. This product right here has fit the ticket, and I've been quite happy.The velcro connectors are very well stitched in, and show no signs of wear from being disconnected and reconnected many times. The glow in the dark pigment works well enough that a nearby car headlight or a stop at a liquor store will turn you into a green hoop running through the night. The reflectors are top-notch. I've put the belt on objects and gone a ways away to test it. Even with minimal light, this belt has some pretty vivid reflection. Would recommend to others.

Extreme brightness when running

This is a really good conspicuity item. The retro-reflective dots are very bright, and work from pretty oblique angles, and the photoluminescent bits work reasonably well too. It's just the right size so it can be worn as either a belt or sash (we call it the Safety Sash), and the velcro closure holds well, but no so well that it could snag and drag you.

This belt both glows in the dark and reflects light. If you charged it up with a light before you went out, it would glow for a while. Pretty fun. It is kind of wide, but that works with the reflective idea.

it is able to be adjusted perfectly, it fits amazingly and is super thin compared to other PT belts, works just as advertised, yet the rank closure is starting to fray after only two months of wear

I bought this for my dogs & myself for our nightly walks. Durable enough that my Bully breed dogs & fosters have not been able to damage them. We glow in the dark. Life saver especially on my neighborhood's no light, no sidewalk roads.

Great for cycling or just walking in the dark
