Premier KitesOsprey Sport Kite - Red Raptor

This kite is so good! Not only does it come with everything (and I mean everything) that you need to fly, carry, and store your kite, but everything is very high quality. The carrying case is big enough to hold the kite, winder, instructions, etc. easily without having to cram things in. The Extracto winder is very nice, and holds the line and straps neatly and tightly. The instructions are clear and straightforward. The kite itself is very impressive in my opinion. The ripstop nylon is very lightweight and seems like it will last a long time. All of the fiberglass supports are super strong, yet aren't heavy. Since this kite is so lightweight, it can be flown in low wind conditions, but because the fiberglass rods give so much support and are so strong, it can easily handle strong winds. In the air, the kite performs beautifully. It goes where you want it to go, and can do tricks or hover effortlessly above your head. Great buy!

Came without line set

In moderate-to-strong wind, this kite flies like its namesake - fast, quick turning, with a generous flight envelope. Lines, straps, and case make it a great value. Easy to control via the included wrist straps (necessary, since this kite PULLS in high winds). Only negative is that the lines seem to be mismatched by about 4" - not a deal-breaker, but slightly annoying. Self-launch was difficult (perhaps due to the high wind speed), but I was able to do it twice. Couldn't get it in the air in light breeze - this kite likes the rough stuff, and will pull strongly on a lighter person.Quality of materials and instructions is first rate. Several nose-dives into the grass at speed (by my girlfriend, who had never flown before) were taken in stride with no damage.NOTE: I'm a relative beginner, so advanced stunts are beyond me - therefore I cannot comment on this kite's abilities in that respect.

the construction of the sky looks pretty good but the strings attached to the kite were the wrong length and the kite would not fly at all. After making some adjustments to the strings I was able to get it to fly but for $37 i expect the thing to work out of the box. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it.

My kite came with an item short. The seller immediately remedied that. I saw that a number of people have complained about settings on their kites. This stunt kite, like most stunt kites, comes with a harness that can be adjusted to fly the way YOU like your kite to fly. Some people want a fast climbing kite, and others want the kite in a configuration that encourages manueverability. If the kite doesn't fly the way you want, you need to adjust the harness.
