Maybe this just works better on cat fur because we have a malting lab (and when a lab malts it is unrelenting around the clock bags and bags of it) so even tho I hoover twice a day there is still hair to be found as well as a child who persistently has to hug her hairy dog goodbye before school and needs a hoovering herself. I was really hoping this gadget was going to be the miracle we have been looking for …. But sadly, not so much!Just a note that you do need to sweep from left to right and right to left and not up and down which is what I was doing initially, so yes by doing it correctly does work better 😉 but still, it doesn’t miraculously remove all the hair.I also feel it works pretty well on the sofa and car seats (firmer surfaces) then on flimsy light clothing where a lot of hair collects to the brush but with stray hair on clothing it is just faster to shake it outside then go thru the procedure of ‘sweeping’ up the hair and then putting it into the holder for 10 hairs and then having to pull it out again, to repeat and yes the base is as previous reviewers have mentioned … extremely stiff. I thought mine was broken but eventually figured out you just have to use a bit of force.The point is – it is not a miracle hair remover because if it was one, it would be simple to use because it works, and it doesn’t without its complications. For the people that it does work for and have given glowing reviews I would love to know what they’re doing right and I’m doing wrong.

I am delighted with this brush! Works far better thank lint removerno residue on surface, catches fluff and hairs, even my cat likes being stroked with it. Make sure you brush against the brush grain. Easy to clean the brush, as well as empty the container. Photos from the travel brush only, the big one is even better. Delighted is an understatement!

The brush is a bit tricky to pull out without the contraption coming apart but you get the hang of it eventually. It’s really easy to use and to clean. I have four indoor cats so it takes a while to get four cats worth of shedding off pet blankets but it does work. It doesn’t take as long on other textiles. We even used it on the cat tree!

This is works really well for cat fur. Better than the sticky paper rollers I've used previously.

It really does what it says on the tin, get all the pet hair off and the base removes it perfectly. However it’s so stiff to get the brush back out but I imagine it’s to remove the hair more effectively. Overall pleased.

I was dubious, However it works perfectly and with 2 dogs and cats and daily vacuuming this was ideal for the bed and sofa

It's a bit stiff to start with but great for getting cat and dog hair off

Great product. My photo is what I got off my stairs using this item even after I had already vacuumed. Love it. Highly recommend.
