DonDonLarge Beach Bag Water Resistant with Zip

Great size bag and design, my reason for marking it down was due to the ink transferring on to my white beach wear !! so a great zipped bag super size for a few towels and all beach essentials but do not carry whilst wearing white clothes!!I am pleased to say that once I got my clothes home and washed the dye appears to have come out so big relief there!

This bag is huge, perfect for the beach. It holds a multitude of things. The pattern was great and it has a handy zip pocket inside. I have to mark it down because I found the rope handles painful on my shoulders (to be fair, the bag was stuffed full with snorkels, towels, sun cream, etc) and the top zip broke during our 2 week holiday. Perhaps if it hadn’t been stuffed so full the zip might have survived.

Great bag but as per previous reviews the lining tore and the frayed fabric then caught in the zip! Don’t want to bin it after one weeks use so may cut out the remaining lining and use like that as the bag is waterproof. Straps are soft and easy to carry and the purse type bit was handy and fitted phones etc in also.

I received this bag and although slightly larger than I’d realised, I liked it. I’d ordered it especially because it has a zip so everything was more secure. However, I took it on holiday and after using it to take 2 towels and suncrream to the hotel pool, the lining completely split down the whole of one side. I have since read reviews that this has happened several times to other people.

Its a large canvas bag, my issue is that the lining is incorrectly attached making it very difficult to close the zipper when bulky items are in the bag. Ive ended up cutting the lining out and pinning the lining inner zipper pocket to the inner side of canvas. Not ideal but it works.

I used this bag for a two week trip to St Lucia. Came back yesterday. It was brilliant and we used it every day. Despite being filled to the brim with two beach towels, our kindles, iPads, swimming costumes, purse and straw sunhat, phones and bug spray it was comfy to hold with two really soft handles. Coped with the weight and because it’s quite plain my husband didn’t mind carrying it around. It never appeared dirty even though it was left in sand all day ( some of it volcanic grey) and it appeared quite waterproof after a few tropical showers didn’t get the contents wet. All in all it was the best beach bag i’ve used.

Sadly I will need to return this bag as we bought it on the basis it had done internal pockets, however on the first day of use the internal zip broke.The bag otherwise looks nice and is a good size and sturdy, and I just may have been unlucky with a faulty one-off, however due to the faulty zip, I will be arranging to return this item

Just took on holiday with us & easily had room for 4 beach towels, water, giant clips & all sorts. We found the attached mini purse annoying but easily removed. We shall be using this here on the beach as well as for future holidays. Nice print for the seaside plus not too girlie so my husband was happy to carry it.
