Sevenhills Wholefoods Organic Superfood Protein Bars, Fruit & Nut Variety Pack 12 x 45g, High Fibre, Vegan

I’ve been looking for some organic protein bars for some time now and was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled across these on Amazon.  I have tried Body Me protein bars in the past which are also organic but found these too dense in texture and taste.  I’ve now tried all three flavours and would describe them as soft in texture, chewy and moist. They reminded me of my late grandmothers homemade flap jacks.   I love nuts and found it hard to choose which one I enjoyed the most.  I think it would be the cashew one if I was pushed to make a choice, I could quite easily swap this for my daily chocolate fix, knowing I am also getting some protein which has to be a plus point! I loved the texture of the peanut and maca one and the sweetness level was just right for me.  The third berry one was a tad too sweet for me.  Would I buy these again? Yes but at £24.99 I found them a wee bit pricey for a regular purchase.  I will keep an eye out to see if they are on offer at any point, the packaging was lovely and these would make an ideal gift.

I liked the cashew flavour, but the almond and peanut ones tasted too grainy and left me feeling a bit yucky after eating. Strange!

Tasted old and unappetizing. Possibly because I was sent a really old batch expiring in a couple of months. Unimpressed although I usually enjoy SevenHills products. Overpriced for what I got.On the flip side, bought it because it's made of organic wholefoods and has no added sugar.

Found these bars nice, filling, and more importantly, didnt seem to spike my blood sugar, (i am type 2), the flavours were all pretty nice, and it satiated my desire for a sweet hit, rather than going for something thats a bit naughty .

Really tasty as well as healthy
