SwissGear3573 Compact Laptop Backpack, Black, 17-Inch

This bag is exactly what I was looking for. More on the minimalist side without lots of logos. Tasteful and lots of features. It is slim and enough to accommodate a laptop, peripherals, and notebooks. However, due to the compact nature, an oblong item in one section will prohibit usage in another. For example, and apple in a pocket will prevent you from using that same area in another section to some degree. If you’re going to use this bag, you gotta buy into the idea of uniformity and slim items. If so you are going to love this bag. If not and you want to throw in a bunch of bulky and protruding items like chargers and water bottles, it probably isn’t the bag you’re looking for.

I had a number of recent business trips, and although I loved my previous laptop backpack, it was on the larger/bigger side and I wanted something slimmer/smaller, but that still maintained similar functionality. The three separated compartments were perfect and there was plenty of room for my laptop and ancillary supplies. I also like the fact that internally there were multiple pockets/pouches to hold additional items so that things were compartmentalized and not just thrown loosely into the backpack.

Love this backpack for work! Easy to pack up my laptop and folders needed for the day. Comfortable shoulder straps. Only downside is that the side pockets for a water bottle are a bit small. I have a 16oz S’well travel bottle that has a wider base and is difficult to fit into the pocket. Might try to find a slimmer water bottle. Otherwise, this is a great backpack!

I’m a medical student and this bag is perfect! It feels compact and fits me perfectly. I’m 5’3” so that isn’t usually the case with backpacks. I ideally carry my laptop, iPad with Apple Pencil, planner, stethoscope, pens, notebook for taking patient notes, snacks, my badge, and a bunch of other necessities like chapstick, a brush, Tylenol, sunglasses (in case), etc. Even when it’s stuffed to the brim it still feels compact and lighter than any other backpack I’ve used. It also looks sleek and does great protecting my stuff in the rain. My only complaint is that the water bottle holders are a little small. I usually just put my phone in the pocket. Granted, I have a 40 oz Takeya water bottle so it would fit in very few backpacks, but I have a hard time putting my travel coffee mug in the pockets. Don’t let that deter you - this is an incredible backpack.

I finally dumped my Amazon's basics laptop bag for a backpack. This is way better. There's just more space for my ear buds, power supply mouse, etc. Big backpacks are not my thing, I just want all my office stuff in one bag.

Good size not to big, not to little. I’m 5’2 and it was exactly what I was looking for. Has multiple compartments perfect for taking my laptop with me and arranging my material in my bag. Love it. Very sleek look

I use the product for school. Great for carrying a light school load while being nice and compact. I can fit up to 2 large books and a 3 subject notebook. Which is all I need for most of my classes on a daily basis.

The media could not be loaded. This backpack is quite thin. I think it's best for laptop, tablet, and folders (flat items) than anything else but I use it for my laptop and small things like the cord and a change of clothes OR jacket. Not much else would fit.I wanted a thin and supportive laptop bag so I got this one. I like that there isn't a lot of useless pockets compared to others that are similar and more expensive.Overall, I'm satisfied. It serves it's purpose.

Size is just the right fit and great pockets.. very comfortable
