You don't need to wash before use. Packaged nicely. In Florida it's hard to find 100% cotton anything. The blue color is on the dark side. It's a very masculine blanket. Your bedroom should have the darkest solid color decor. Good Sleep Hygiene includes the darkest room you can handleThe darker the better. I slept under it last night. I have a queen size bed. The length is great. The width is enough but another 12 inches wide would better. It's going to be more than adiquite for a full sized bed. I ordered a 3 layered 100% cotton quilt in a dark blue. It should arrive today. I heard on the news that sleeping under heavy weight bed spreads and blankets helps you fall asleep sooner. Makes you feel safe. Cotton brithes. Synthetics don't.For the money you can't beat this one.

I just bought two of these. Unfortunately I purchased with a full case of chaffing cans, which leaked. They are in the washer now, hopefully they look great! These are gorgeous blankets! Just don't order with something that Amazon will ship together. Very upset with AMAZON! VERY HAPPY WITH BLANKET!!!!!

This is just a great blanket! I love the chevron pattern, it's incredibly soft, and it keeps me warm. The other really impressive thing is the way the Company produces and packages it; it's very Eco Friendly. It is a great product from a great Company...and, no, I do not work for them! I am just a very satisfied customer.

I have been looking for a king-size cotton blanket that is actually long and wide enough to tuck but also of good quality and I found it with this one. The quality is excellent and it is both long and wide enough to tuck the corners and the end so that it stays in place. I will definitely order another one and will highly recommend it to others.

I overheat a lot, but I need a blanket to cover my knees and feet (arthritis hates cold). But I cant handle the sweating, waking up wet... This blanket it great. Just warm enough for what I need, but breathable and nice looking and feelings against the skin. Silky feeling. Nice and big. I used it in winter fold in half just on me.

This is the perfect layering blanket for my winter bed. Love the lilac color for this room and will be ordering another in a different color for second bedroom soon!

This blanket is just what I was looking for. It washed and dried beautifully. Just put it on the bed today, so not quite ready to give it a five for comfort. The price was good. Feels like a good quality blanket. Also happy that I found one that is not made in China. Would highly recommend

I loved this blanket immediatly.Lightweight and cool, great colour and size.Note that only unless you are very careful, have no dogs or cats, kids or grandkids, and you always cut your toenails, this blanket will not snag.If you do have any or all of the above, it will catch and snag.It's just how cotton blankets work.Live with it, or die under a hot sweaty wool blanket all summer long.

Beautiful light pure cotton breathable blanket. No defects, no complains. Looks and feels silky. Generous size (I prefer twin size for my double bed).It is made in India, but on a high end quality production. According to label, it is ecologically made with solar and wind energy, which likely explains a bit higher price. Clean, no smells, no shedding - no need to wash it before use.Jade color is lovely but just to note it looks more pale compared to the images on the website. I would prefer a bit brighter, but still love it and it matches my interior very well. Highly recommend.P.S. For comparison: I have purchased another cotton blanket by different brand, also made in India, for about half price of this one. And I am retuning it right away as the quality is so poor. This one has noticeable stitches all over the top surface as well as a hole in the very centre! It is not pleasant to touch, it smells and looks like needs to be washed before putting on a bed.

I’ve been so wary about buying anything that’s not under a well know brand but am so pleasantly surprised by how good this blanket is. The pattern is lovely and the quality is phenomenal for the price. It’s heavier than I expected (good thing) and the colour is lush (I went with the blue).The care and attention in manufacturing is exceptional. Definitely recommend!

This blanket is really nice and soft. It's light weight but not too light that it moves around too much. My dogs nail did snag a small area already and I am noticing that there are small snags already throughout. Not sure what it will look like in 6 months. But it is really comfortable!

This is a gorgeous product... the weave is nice and tight yet the blanket is lightweight -almost too lightweight as I like a blanket with some weight - and I will be buying another one. The quality is top notch. Yes it is expensive compared to some others, but you get what you pay for and this is worth every penny.
