Finn Comfort Women's Jamaika Sandal

This is my second pair of Jamaika sandals. The first pair lasted well over four years (three seasons out of the year) - and I'm very hard on footwear. It's difficult to find comfortable footwear for my feet because of two foot surgeries, the use of orthotic inserts and very wide width feet. These Finn Comfort sandals are the answer to all of those problems. The removable foot beds let me put in my orthotics, the velcro fasteners mean that adjustment to a wider foot width is possible. Within no time of putting them on, they felt 'broken in' and comfortable.The quality is excellent - the only reason my first pair wore out was because they got completely soaked a couple of times, and I continued to wear them afterwards. The leather lining eventually wore off - but after 4-1/2 years of prior use. Maybe if I had let them dry before wearing again that wouldn't have even been an issue? However, they are still very wearable and I use them as slippers. They are every bit as comfortable as the day they were purchased. I plan on buying more of the same style in different colors. Worth every penny.

These Finn Comfort sandals are wonderful for weary feet -- I have four pair. I wear them as house slippers and as everyday errand running shoes. If I wear other more conventional shoes, as soon as I get home, they go off and the Finn Comforts go on. The leather covered cork insole, especially the softer one that this particular style has, supports the foot in a way that relieves the burning and hurting. I love these shoes.The velcro adjustable straps are great, whether you have a narrow foot or a wider foot, you can adjust to a comfortable fit. You can also readjust to fit over socks for a chilly day or for barefoot summer comfort. OK, so they're not the most stylish, but as with age comes wisdom, so with pointy toes and spike heels come bunions, corns and hammer toes. I started wearing this brand and model of comfort shoe about seven years ago when I developed plantar fasciitis. I got my initial pair at an orthopedic shoe store and paid regular price because they felt so great on my feet and I was in so much pain. After just a few days, my feet started to feel great. I've worn that initial pair for seven years and they've finally worn out This new pair of the Jamaika Fiinn Comfort is the same wonderful feel and quality of the ones I bought years ago. The adjustable straps provide perfect fit. They fit true to size to my standard size 10 shoe size. The suede foot bed is super comfortable, and unlike another well-known German sandal brand, there's no painful break-in period. They feel great from the moment you put them on!I don't usually spend this kind of money on shoes, but Finn Comfort is the exception. These shoes saved my feet. I wear them every day, all day at home. Can't say enough good things about this shoe.

This shoe looks comfortable and feel great at first. However, after wearing them for about a week my toes then my feet started hurting so badly that I had to see a podiatrists. I wore the shoes to my appointment. The podiatrists bent the shoe at the toe and the cork foot bed lifted right out. I would err on the side of caution before purchasing this shoe.

For years I have been wearing these shoes, and they are the only ones which I can wear (at home and outside). They are "super" comfortable, my feet actually rest in them. I have been suffering from fallen arches and these shoes are just fantastic. The guy who sells them to me from Foot Solutions store makes additional adjustment to the arches (more support), as I need a bit more than they come with.You can also adjust the straps to your liking so they are never too narrow or too wide and the bed of the shoe (the insole, which is removable and washable if you wish to do that) is designed in such a way that they should always fit right to your foot.But I see that Finn Comfort has less and less colors available of these Jamaica sandals and it's disappointing

I've worn this shoe for about 15 years and have it in several colors. This is my 2nd Sangria red pair but my first "soft" pair. Finn Comfort quality, comfort, and support cannot be topped......and the simple design of the Jamaica with the two Velcro straps allow for customized fit even for narrow feet like mine - a real find in the comfort shoe area. This design can be worn with socks when the weather turns cool. In Texas, I wear them all year. I love the new "soft" footbed and am curious to see how it lasts compared to the traditional, harder one....which was plenty comfortable.These shoes last for years so don't let the price scare you....I happily paid full price for years before I discovered Amazon carried them. If you have foot or knee issues....or want to avoid them....these are not a luxury.

I returned these Ventura sandals. While walking around on carpet, to try them on, the top of my foot was getting pinched between the strap over the toes and the narrow middle strap. I foresaw great potential for blisters and foot pain. I love the styling of the Ventura, and am very disapointed that they do not work for me. My other Finn Comfort sandals (Jamaica model) have been wonderful.
