Not for copper, HVAC use
Might work for plastic or pex tubing, but not for HVAC, plumbing use. Tried on reamed L copper refrigeration tubing of various sizes and are results are as seen above. Makes oblong cracked expanded tubing. If you rotate the tool, makes deformed expanded joints, that don't fit, unless you work it with regular swaging tool. In either case joints are about half the length of the one, you make with standard refrigeration swaging tool. Useless.....

Works well with PVC hose
I use this tool on hot tub hoses. Old hoses become hard and can crack. This tool combined with a heat gun works perfect for inserting fittings.
