Fantastic but the suction cup material is sticky as in tape sticky. So I keep it clean by putting some wax paper on it after use. It comes with a stiff-ish plastic cover. When you open this make sure NOT to thow it away like I did. Not sure if this is required but I would not want to stick my GoPro on the outside of my car and have it slip off mid-journey.

if you wash the suction portion under water and let it air dry away from pollutants you can reuse it multiple times.I've used this in airplanes and on my car to record videos and it works great. (inside the plane and outside the car)

This broke easily. I wish it was easier to mount and unmount on the dash. If your car gets really hot then it just doesn’t wrk

I got this one for my GoPro HERO8 Black because of its versatility/adjustability. The holder seems to be well made with sturdy plastic. Once all the knobs are tightened there is no movement. The suction cup works excellent on a flat glass surface. I used it on a glass table and it actually takes some effort to get it off after use. I would expect it to hold equally well on a car window or other smooth and solid surface that is not too curved.I would recommend to save the plastic foil that covers the suction cup. It prevents dust or other small particles from getting embedded in the rubber and causing the suction power to diminish.It can also be used to mount to mount a cellphone, small point and shoot camera, or any other small item that has a 1/4" threaded hole.

havent had a chance to write review but less than a week the plastic broke tightening up what holds the camera. and I did not want one that had adhesive backing! I thought it was the GOOD kind with rubber backing. you stick that on the first time it will NOT come off. I work out daily and pulled with all my might and it would not move. had to use credit card to get under it to slowly pull it away. dont like this stupid adhesive...what, no one could make it out of rubber? so to conclude...cannot tighten anything down to stay if it weighs more than a few ounces cause if you hit a bump it will fall and adhesive is so sticky you will never remove it UNLESS you let it sit in your windshield for a couple hours and then it will lose adhesion and fall off. my GPS with rubber suction cup never falls even sitting out on a hot sunny day. what crap, I am tired of amazonn chiina junk that looks nice but does not work!

I was looking for a suction mount to use on the hood of my car. Many of the suction mount specifically recommend attachment to glass only. This was one of the few that mentioned mounting to a car body.I tried it out today. I wiped down a spot on my car hood with a rag and placed the suction cup and activated it. I mounted my camera and drove around a bit taking experimental footage. I decided to try a different placement and was stunned at how hard it was to get the mount off. After deactivating the leaver I had to pull hard on the smartly provide seal tongue to get the device to release. THIS THING STICKS WELL.I tried another location and had similar excellent results.I would trust this mount with my most expensive camera traveling fast on a bumpy road. The wheels will fall off before this mount does.This FAR exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

Suction is not reliable. Almost lost my GoPro twice on the boat. Very clean flat surface pops off after a short while. Threw it in the trash going with clamps and grips no more suction cups.

A great little mount for a dash cam. It sticks well to a curved dash, and holds the camera steady.
