They are water resistant, do not put on boat trailer

The lights are great bright and work as they should the grommets they hold light suck had use my old ones cause these ones wouldn’t stay in the hole just fall out you could tell they where cheap and very flimsy of then that I love them

I have been restoring my wife's 2-horse Sundowner trailer with new floorboards, new pigtail, new 12v battery and all new LED lighting. I wanted to match the footprint of the OEM lights which these did. These install exactly like the OEM lights they replaced. It's a grommet style fit that requires inserting the light into the grommet once the grommet is installed. This is a TIGHT fit. Use a little soap water to lubricate the grommet so you don't crack the lense pushing it in. Work slowly and patiently. I also used a polymer pry tool from an automotive dashboard tool kit I have for taking vehicle interiors apart. Again, SLOW and PATIENTLY so you don't tear a grommet.These look SHARP at night! Very nice and bright!! We'll see about longevity but so far, no complaints. Well worth the price!

These trailer lights are easy to install. However they are also easy to pop/ fall out under operating conditions because the gaskets that retain them are pretty soft. And they are NO WAY WATERPROOF. If they are submerged in a couple of water for more than 20 seconds they will fill with water and the led boards will start shorting out and no longer work. Once the water gets in it doesn't want to come out. So although they won't keep water out they will retain water and keep it in! These lights for marine applications are complete junk. I would also be worried about using in wet weather conditions as well as at a car wash. If you want to keep these lights mounted while under operating conditions you had better modify the fitment location to be very tight or find another way to retain these lights onto your vehicle. I've gone through two sets of these lights already to confirm these facts and they were professionally installed both times.

These lights are very bright and the install is simple. I replace my old bulls style lights with these led lights. I can tell if they are working or not from my mirrors unlike before I had to walk back to see if they were working

Purchased these 2 years ago and they still work but the lens have faded to a dull red. No where on the light does it say DOT. Lights kept falling out because gaskets were loose fitting. Installed my old rubber gaskets and no more issues.
