Purchased this item recently, wanting to get into CNC routing. Vendor and I corresponded over a few questions I had... 1) VFD setup for RS485 a) Easy to do, have verified with "SpindleTalker". 2) Optional "braking" resistor a) This item does not have this option, so I purchased another VFD (stand-alone) with option. b) Will post review after receiving the VFD with "braking" optionSetup water cooling using Thermaltake components, acquired most of these items from Amazon. - Part of the "Techie" in me me! :) - Working GREAT so farVendor has been responsive to my email questions. Generally happy with the performance of the spindle. Purchased on discount, but, it was certified like new. The unit I received had a burr on the spindle thread that galled 2 of my spindle nuts. After seizing the second I figured out the issue and ground down the end of the threads, which should have been done at the factory.Neither of my 2 balanced nuts will thread on due to the damaged threads. I can only use the nut that came with the unit. Wish I had used that nut first and gummed it up. I don’t have a 25mm x 1.5 tap to chase the threads. The cheapest tap I can find domestic is $30. The gummed up nuts were only $40.

I received the set very promptly. Needless to say i am very happy with the shipping time and the security of the package.I tested the spindle plug pins and it turned out there was no continuity with the ground pin and the spindle body.I reached out to the seller to check if the number 4 pin, the ground, is connected to the body. I received a response saying “number 4 pin is connected to the ground”.I had to open the bottom end of the spindle to verify myself that it was indeed not connected to anything.Also the shrink insulator is loose for the other cables.Please if you do buy check before you wire this unit, this can be dangerous.Only giving 2 stars for the shipping speed, the seller does not advertise this, nor was he truthful about it when asked.Quite disappointed!

Purchased this as an upgrade to the PC690 on my CNC router. Ran into some initial problems configuring the VFD . Customer support put me in touch with the engineers to diagnose the problem and quickly shipped out a replacement control panel for the VFD. With that, I was up and running in just a few minutes.The on-line video walks you through the setup in English. The English reference manual has further details on additional configuration parameters and interface pins for more advanced setup and interfacing to your control system.

2 Boxes, 1 spindle, 1 drive Invert-er, 1 crumpled piece of paper suggesting to spin the bearing before use. That"s all. No water lines, no English instructions on how to get this all put together and 1 video on line (you-tube) in Chinese I think. Why do manufacturers assume that everyone is a know it all electrician with the for-site to purchase water pump, hoses, electrical connectors, shrink wrap and all other tools needed to get this pony to run. While I could figure this one out in about a day, I am angered enough to send it all back. Customer service starts with the sale of goods that can be assembled in a timely, unencumbered kind of way. Advertisement needs to include what is NOT included and needs to be purchased. Clear and precise instructions and a video explaining the procedures step by step would be a good starting point.Calling for a pick up nowregardsNOTtoHAPPYcamper

What I liked most about the product, was the customer service, I had an warranty issue about a month after purchase..they were super friendly, quick and I was back and running in about 3 days. I'll buy from them again and I'll recommend them to everyone.

Product fully met expectations, was promptly shipped/received and customer support was outstanding. I will be purchasing another one for my father's CNC machine.
