ACCUTECK 440lb Heavy Duty Digital Metal Industry Shipping Postal Scale (ACB440)

Bought less than 4 months ago and it is not heavily used, and no more than 100 pounds at a time. It unfortunately stopped working (stuck at zero pounds) after only 3+ months. While under warranty, the cost to return for a replacement is basically half the cost of the scale itself. In my estimation, not worth the trouble.

This scale has gotten very little use, certainly nothing too heavy. Used it yesterday, worked fine! Tried to weigh a package to send today, just zeros. Tried new batteries, no help. tried the Accuteck website for troubleshooting, couldn't find the product! Back on Amazon to check reviews and, sure enough, full of reviews with the same problem! Believe them! You might get lucky, but why chance it! I wouldn't buy an Accuteck anything!

Worked okay for the first few months. Bought it in July, and as of yesterday it no longer will weigh anything. Reads 00 regardless of weight on it. Tried a bunch of stuff with no luck. Weighing accuracy seemed off as well. Would fluctuate up to half a pound.

Seemed to work well for two months, now I just get an error message. Every now and then it will actually power on; zero difference between plug-in AC adapter or batteries. Never weighed anything over 100# and only used it a few dozen times in two months. Amazon says it's outside of the return time frame. Recommend you look elsewhere.

Purchased on 9 Oct 2015, we really liked the scale as my girl friend is legally blind and it was easy for her to see, using it as a bathroom scale. However, it quit working after 6 weeks. It turns on just fine and the button controls seem to work but will only display zero. We brought it to another home and left the warranty card behind so am trying to find the contact information for Accuteck...

I love this scale. I got it instead of a bathroom scale to weigh myself because it is more accurate and the display can be held at eye level. I can also accurately weigh my cat and other animals that fit onto the platform with it. Bathroom scales with a display that I didn't have to bend down (and try to see past my belly :) ) to see cost way more, and are less accurate. This scale is accurate to within 56 grams (less than two ounces) whereas bathroom scales on average are only accurate to within two POUNDS. Also, most bathroom scales display pounds and one tenth pounds by increments of 2 tenths, examples: 110.2 pounds, or 220.4 pounds. This scale weighs in pounds and ounces, in one ounce increments, examples: 110 pounds, and 3 ounces, or 220 pounds, and 6 ounces. That means no math to do, and you can weigh many other things besides bodies, after all, it is a postal shipping scale, not a bathroom scale.

Scale worked great, till about 5 months in, now it will not register any load placed on it at all. Replaced the batteries, no change.This scale was kept in original box when not in use, and did not, ever, have a load resting on it when not in use. I suppose you get what you pay for, never used it for anything heavier then 170 pounds either.

I do not recommend it a month after using it I stop working, you can not see the screen
