People who have complaints on the watch do not know how to read instructions, do not know how to care for a mechanical watch, and or they don't know how to use a mechanical watch.keeps track of time very well and does not lose time like people mention on the comments. I imagen it does lose SECONDS per day like any time keeping piece but for the price this is a great mechanical watch.A great buy in my personal opinion.

This is a beautiful watch! It's also my first mechanical watch, and it's a great one to start with. I really like the NATO band. I haven't had any problems with it running down just by wearing it daily. I find that I lose about 10 to 15 seconds a day. Every couple of days I just set the time again. I'm very happy with this watch and I'm glad I got it. My watch didn't come with a manual, but I highly recommend going to Seiko's site and downloading it. It gives you a lot of great information. It's how I learned all the features and how to set it. For instance, the day changes around midnight, but the day of the week changes completely by around 4:00am. It has to run through the bilingual day of the week before reaching the next day of the week at around 4:00am. I also didn't know you should keep mechanical watches away from magnets because they can get magnetized and lose accuracy. There's a ton of good information like that in the official manual from Seiko. You're looking for the one for the 4R36 caliber (that's the movement identifier).

This watch is nice enough to wear on a night out but perfect for daily life, gym, etc. I don't like battery watches so the mechanical movement is great.

Simply Great

This watch worked okay for about a month, which ironically is the return window. Then it started losing time. Now I wind it in the morning, at lunch, and before bed and wear it while I sleep. After all this it still loses about a minute every day. It looks great, and the idea is admirable. But there is no way I would buy another one. Don't waste your money.

Brutal

The seller did a good job of sending the watch. The watch's original box was sent inside a tough packaging box. I'm worried that it might get damaged. As for the watch, it's perfect I love it. The only con is I need to hack it every two days because it will advance for two to three minutes. I definitely but again with this seller.

Great watch for the money. This is my daily watch and I have no time keeping problems since I wear this watch to bed. If you don’t wear this watch daily it takes 20 seconds to set the time. It’s possible to set the time wrong since the date will change when the watch “thinks” it’s night time. If the watch is rolling “day indicator” during the day time then you have to rotate 12hrs.I have smaller wrist but this is the biggest watch I would wear.
