I have these placed inside at the back doors since that's where most of the dirt traffic, leaves, and dog comes in. They work great and are very easy to keep clean. I love that they don't get sucked up by the vacuum cleaner ( set on low or floors) like thinner area rugs but are still low enough for the doors to open over them. They look and feel nice also. My dog likes them as they are thick enough to keep the cold tile floor from being uncomforatable for her to lay on. During recent rains they ansorbed the water off shoes right away and prevented water and dirt from being tracked into the house. They might cost a little more than other mats but they are worth every penny.

I needed a mat to grab so many insults: I'm an outdoor person, blindly tracking in mud, debris, whatever. My animal companion is a rescue dog who tracks in dead leaves, earth and moss.. I want to marry this entrance mat, that's how much I love it (I bought several) Yes, it is that good at capturing miscellaneous debris and making me look more domestically efficient than I am.

I use several of these rugs both on the patio and in front of my cats litter box. On the patio I use a long one in front of some chairs and in front of my home entrance door. They tolerate rain well. I also use a 2 ft x 3 ft one under and in front of a cat litter box. The nubby surface helps remove cat litter from paws so it's not tracked so much through the house.

I like it for controlling puddling at entrance/exit, and just ordered another. It seems to dry pretty quickly (though my home heating system keep the air pretty dry - so this might not be the same for you). It also seems that the peaks dry first, so when my socks tread on the wet rug, they didn't get wet: the moisture was in the "troughs" of the design.

I liked the performance so much from two previous purchases, I bought two more as gifts for family members. They really work well at getting mud and grime off shoes. We kept one near the hallway where our cat used the litter box. I noticed that the cat litter would collect on the mat and not go on the carpet. Really good at helping to keep my wood floors clean too. Easy to clean. Just let them dry out and vacuum. If you wash them off, they do take a bit of time to dry but they do not have any musty odor like the other mats I have had.

I have one of these mats in front of each entry door, both inside and outside. These mats are low, so they fit perfectly under a door. They are super easy to vacuum. I would definitely purchase again. I have had my first one at least 4 years, and it still looks as good as new.

I live in MN and am always dealing with dirt, snow, and moisture being tracked into my house. Put this by my front door and it has helped tremendously, and looks very stylish at the same time. Many rugs for catching dirt are ugly, but this one is not. It also feels OK on the feet.
