This Ovente Teapot and Electric Kettle combination works great for loose leaf tea. I just unboxed and made my first pot today. Based on my experience I expect to enjoy many more pots of tea from this kettle.The water heated quickly, and the keep warm feature works well. Thanks to another reviewer who made it clear that you need to select a temperature, press “keep warm”, AND press the start button! I will add that I boiled the kettle first to 212F and then set to “keep warm” at 200F. It won’t set “keep warm” at 212 which makes sense.I really like the prontofill. It enabled me to fill the kettle without removing a lid. It was very easy to use, and the water went in quickly without overflowing.The kettle boils quickly and “keep warm” cycles it back to boiling periodically.I do wish that I could silence the beeping. It is bothersome since I am an early riser and don’t want to wake the household making my morning tea. I suggest the manufacturer add a silent mode in the next model. I recommend this model based on initial experience.

This teapot is fast heating water for tea. The only issue is if you want a second or third cup, the water doesn't remain as hot, only lukewarm, unless used right away. You must reheat the water t boil if you want it hot on the next cups. Other wise it works great.

Why it is 5-stars!If you like me love to drink tea three time or as you like it, then this the product. What make this unique from other products, is the one simple clik and infusing slide that give you flexibility to lift up the tea leaf without keep them in water all time. Also, you will get full product support and the warranty.

I loved it however, it stopped working 7 weeks after purchase. I was so disappointed!!

However, the keep warm option is a bit strange and seems unnecessary since it only lasts for one minute. I’m not sure what the purpose of that is.” Guys, I didn’t not know how keep warming works! It works perfectly, you need to push keep warming button AND start button. I didn’t push start and it turned off after a minute. If you push start button too, it works perfectly and keep the temperature on 200F.I love it

This is a pretty nice and elegant water boiler and tea pot, but...The purpose I bought this was to brew tea otherwise there are a lot of other options.Unfortunately the temperature settings is not correct temperatures for brewing tea.It has 170, 185, 200 and 212 temp settings and in order to brew tea it should keep the temperature at boiling point of 210 to 212when keep warm button is on but unfortunately it doesn't let you keep it at near boiling temp so that you can have a nicely brewed tea. As the result tea brewed with this machine is nothing near what it should taste like. Hope they do a modification and add 210 F instead of 170F and keep warm function at 210FThat way it would do what it is advertised for, brewing tea.

The ease of use settings is fantastic. Adding water without having to remove the lid is consumer friendly.A great kettle
