Works as Advertised. Does not Support PTZ
Bought this item to eliminate running CAT6 and power to my non-POE Reolink PTZ. Provides enough power to do everything except the PTZ features. So if you are only using this for fixed cameras, it works great. Just didn’t completely work for my needs.

Works great with my Amcrest PTZ cameras!
I needed something so I could use my non-POE Amcrest cameras with a POE switch. I kept ordering splitters that didn't fit (my Amcrest cameras are 3.5mm x 1.35mm connectors). The fact this has an adapter for 2.1mm is a plus - I could use that if I needed to move it to another device that has a 2.1mm connector. Now the 1.35mm doesn't fit totally flush in the camera - it goes in about 90% so there is a little exposure on the plug but it's not a big deal - I put a little gorilla tape over it and it's fine. Powers up and network connects great. I will be getting more

Works with Nest Wifi Router
Works with my 802.3af/at PoE/PoE+ switch connected to my Nest Wifi Router acting as a wired access point. I’m getting gig speeds. Great value and works perfectly.

Works great for devices with either of these plug types and needing no more than 2.4A of 5VDC
If your device run on DC (USB) power, and takes one of the two plugs supplied, this a fine choice to drive low-load devices such as Rockchip or a lightly-loaded Raspberry Pi.

Works just as expected...
Nice that it comes with an extra adapter, just be aware the the plug on the device is 3.5mmx1.35mm and the included adapter brings it up to standard 5.5mmx2.1mm. If you need to downsize from there, then you'll be using two adapters.

I used this to connect a Sonos Boost with POE
Plugged right in and worked. The boost has an odd power tip 2.5mm x 0.7mm so you have to find a converter, but with the right tip it works great.

Works great
Using with a Hubitat hub. Works great to reset switch port to hard reboot Hubitat hub.

Max throughput < 1Mb/s, does not play nice with 802.3af/at hardware
Context: I have a moderate collection of various POE/POE+ splitters/devices and switches/injectors so this isn't a case of one-off issue or odd compatibility issues. Likewise I have sufficient hardware laying around to be able to confidently isolate the issue to these devices.I've tried 4 (2 different batches of 2 devices) of these devices now and all 4 of them show the same issues. Maximum transmission speed when connected to 802.3af switches is less than 1 Mb/s (1/1000 of the expected speed). When connected to passive POE injectors of the proper voltage these sometimes operate at the full Gigabit speed but are unstable. One of the devices triggered an overload condition on a managed 802.3at switch - max power draw of the device is 5W (measured from the switch/port using a different brand splitter), which is less than half the maximum allowed by an 802.3af device so well within the tolerable range. These devices do not operate per 802.3af specification nor do they operate as advertised. I though the first two may just have been bad devices but the second set behaved the same way.I would give a 0 star rating but Amazon doesn't allow that. These are not able to be used at all, much less at their rated power/speed specifications. This is rather unfortunate as this appears to be the only brand that makes a 5v splitter with a 3.5mm x 1.35mm plug in this compact format.

Works great with Ring Alarm Base Station V2
I purchased this POE ejector to provide power and data to my Ring Alarm base station which runs on 5V and has a 5.5mm barrel power connector.Literally plug and play. Works perfectly for my application.I also purchased similar 5V POE ejector with a micro USB for power to provide Ring Alarm V2 keypads with continuous power and they work well too.

Good quality, a little too big, note 5v out
It's a solid product and works just as described. Entirely my mistake but I didn't notice that it was 5v output (most IP cameras work on 12v). It's also a bit big for what it does. Not a disaster but I'm sure this could be made smaller.
