Clauss18516 7-Inch Titanium Bonded Ultraflex Bent Shear, green

I was given a pair of these scissors to use at work and jumped on Amazon to see if I could get a pair for home as well. They are very sharp and very sturdy. I've used them to snip and slice through all sorts of paper, cardboard, leather, plastic, and may have even used them on rare occasion inappropriately to clip some small gauge wires in miscellaneous computer cables. The edges have stayed sharp through the abuse and I am quite happy with the scissors.

These are exquisitely made and will cut anything from paper to hard plastic, to leather evenly, consistently, and like butter. Haven't tried them on sheet metal but I am sure they would work just as easily. All these boxes of 3-4 "titanium" clippers you get by the bunch are beyond crap compared to these. Yes, its only ONE pair but when you consider these are nigh on indestructible, of perfect construction, and made like a Mercedes, they are a steal. I wish I had know about them years ago!

We've been most impressed by their ability to trim surface fat -- not easy to get at lobes, but fat layered on the surface -- from chicken thighs. We agree with other positive comments here.

These are used in a manufacturing facility to cut through very abrasive material, yet they stay sharp. The only complaint I have gotten has been about the cutting length being too short, and that is probably my fault for not trying harder to find a longer blade length. The Clause brand scissors have always been good quality, no matter which style we use.

Super sharp and durable

See the attached photographs. The part that I circled will pinch your skin if it gets in the way, and if you are cutting something substantial with it that requires using some force, that will hurt! Photograph #2 shows me gripping it, and you can see the vulnerability of my middle finger. What I did was to cut the edges down so that is more rounded and not square. The plastic on the handle is soft enough so that you can do that with a pair of diagonal cutters (what I used) or a file. See photograph #3.

These scissors are fantastic. They cut well, and if they become loose, it is simple to tighten the nut. They remain sharp for a long time. The grip is comfortable, even for gloved hands. We use these for work and will always choose these over lesser quality scissors.

My second pair, just so I have a pair at the house and work. Great, durable, good size scissors, cuts through a bunch of different materials.

Just received these scissors. I ordered them because I wanted something to easily cut through a duvet so I can cut into smaller pieces to fit into the dogs crates, my old scissors just weren't sharp enough! These cut through it like a hot knife through butter! These are super sharp, I was worried that if my finger was in the wrong place it would have easily gone through that too!!!! But luckily I was safe and didn't have to find out!Perfect scissors, perfect for what I needed! Very comfy to use!
