This is the best purchase I have made in a while. The troughs are strong, they look great, and are ready assembled which was a huge bonus. Thank you.

I purchased 3 of these planters and really like the height, and general size of them. They only require you to attached the legs. The wood is sturdy and you can tell they’re good quality - however, we found that there were many nails which were poorly hammered in and were sticking out left, right and centre. So I’d say keep an eye and be prepared to add your own nails for actual reinforcement. Otherwise; they look fantastic.

I was a little disappointed with my purchase, the trough looks good, but it is nailed together, not screwed - this is particularly worrying for the slats across the bottom... too much weight of soil and the bottom is likely to drop out. The trough arrives ready assembled except for the legs which need to be screwed on, but there are no pre-drilled holes - so you need a drill and the correct sized bit (I used 3.5mm), plus of course a screwdriver. The screws provided were a little too long and protrude slightly into the trough. The "instructions" were dismal - half a torn page of A4 and for the wrong product. It wasn't bad value, but I had expected better quality from Charles Taylor.

It is the right size. However, after lining it putting soil, flowers and vegetables in it, the trough fell to the ground.I dont think the nails were long enough to keep it together and the legs could be a bit sturdier. We have nailed the legs together and added blank of wood at the bottom and the top and is using it as a BBQ, food and drink holder, and not for the trough. The trough is sitting on a garden wall which gives me height and I don't have to bend.
