Extremely Comfortable
Purchased this mattress for my Dad's nursing home bed and he loves it. He says that he has a much better sleep and his discomfort from bed sores has been reduced quite a bit.

Fantastic mattress and a great value, in my opinion.
I ordered this for my elderly mother who has constant back and neck pain due to severe disc degeneration. Her former innerspring adjustable mattress became too painful for her to use and she slept in a recliner for over a year, afraid to try to another standard mattress. We finally bought her a medical bed to try to get her out of her recliner. She now has a standard Smith-Davis adjustable hospital bed which has a metal mesh foundation. This mattress fit perfectly.I was worried about the quality at the $200 price but was very pleased upon receiving it.The zippered vinyl cover which comes already installed on this mattress is made of heavy material of very good quality and much nicer that what we have bought before at a department store. The cover is blue and smooth on the top with the maker's logo and model number printed quite largely across the top. The bottom of the cover is gray and textured. I assume the texture is to give the mattress some grip to help keep it in place. This seems to be a nice firm mattress yet it is still very comfortable. I'm not sure what foam technology (memory, gel, etc) or build technology (solid, layers, density, etc) is utilized in this mattress, but I own a $1200 foam and gel adjustable mattress and this one seems just as nice at only half the thickness of mine. It seems a bit more firm than most "memory foam" mattresses I've tried but has a very pleasing way of molding to your body without any noticeable pressure points. As a side note, I really don't know why anyone would buy a mattress with springs now that we have these modern quality solid foam options.I was also worried about whether the six-inch thickness would be thick enough. It is. I'm a fat guy at 230lbs and there was absolutely no sense of "bottoming out" when I tried it. It was comfortable and really seems to be a high-quality product.I hope to never have to buy another mattress for this bed, but if I do I'm sure I will buy this model again, rather than risk getting something of lesser quality. After so long in a recliner she was glad to try the new bed. She sleeps with her upper body raised, recliner-style. After a week on this mattress she is feeling better, sleeps comfortably, and is very satisfied with the mattress as it performs on her bed.I will try to remember to update this review after a longer period of use but for now, everyone in our house is happy because of the price, quality and comfort of this nice product.

Why every home mattress does not have this comfort and barrier against all bodily fluids and bed bugs and bacteria is beyond me
For a senior mattress, kid's mattress, guest room mattress, mattress that will outlive your others, this one is it.It may seem odd to think about a hospital mattress for home use but I looked for one specifically. Why? When I was in culinary school I worked for a short time at a hospital mattress company called Neuropedic. They were crazy expensive but we got calls daily from people who slept on one in a hotel or at the hospital and had to have one for home use because they were so comfortable. And they are for a reason. But they are better for many other reasons as well. This one was just like the Neuoropedic mattress as far as make, without the price of the marketing, so I decided to try it out here and slept on it a few nights myself. Honestly, I have never slept better. It's basically a Tempurpedic memory foam but better for starters. The "better" part is that it's not just one long slab of the same foam. Your head area is more firm while your heels sink into total softness and there is medium memory foam below the head. This is important for long-term care because it prevents bed sores but for those who are in perfect health and just sleep on it at night you will realize how much better you sleep when your feet are able to sink into the softness. No more bedbugs or worse: For a kid's mattress or teen mattress or guest or senior care you have to really think about it differently. Hospital beds have an impenetrable cover to bacteria, sweat, bed bugs, vomit, blood and urine. Why every mattress does not have it is beyond me. I mean, after the flu, you would not wear the same clothes the rest of the week, but you will sleep on a mattress that soaked up your sniffles, sneezes or worse. The cover on this prevents anything soaking into the mattress and it's not just body fluid resistant like some, but it's body-fluid PROOF. Of course this also means you can spill your soda or coffee on it without it soaking in as well. Even some mattresses by this same brand are not this protected. This is their upper line. The mattress redistributes the weight of your body perfectly not just to ensure no bed sores but for the best sleep you can imagine. It's made for health reasons not for marketing to ensure you sink into it as needed and rest on top where needed to. It's truly dreamy sleep. The size is 80" (L) x 36" (W) x 6" (H) x 6" (H) . It will fit a standard hospital bed, bunk bed, twin bed, etc.I really can't understand buying a twin mattress of any other kind. This provides better sleep and better protection than any other but people just don't think to buy a commercial mattress brand made for these reasons even when the price is better and it does more than something like a Tempurpedic brand. Same concept with the memory foam but without the pretty flowered cover that allows your bed to be the dirtiest clothes you wear even though you lay on your bed all night. With this, your mattress remains protected forever and you sleep in total comfort with perfect weight distribution. And literally, No sweat. (or dead skin or bed bugs or bacteria).Especially great for a kid's mattress or senior care where they need to spend long hours or all hours in bed or may be sick while in bed.Incidentally, hospital mattresses also have to be rated for fire safety whereas home mattresses can easily and quickly catch fire. Just an extra bonus.

very nice mattress
I bought this mattress for my mom's hospital bed. It seems to be holding up very well...have had it for 2 months. Mom's back is very delicate, she feels any and all lumps or bumps. We took off the vinyl cover as it always had wrinkles that bothered her. We also added a memory foam topper to further give her comfort when the bed is adjusted to a semi-sitting position. She felt the crease but, I did not! I would definitely reccomend this mattress...I could sleep on it without the topper and be extremely comfortable. We let it air out for a couple days before use...the new foam smell was completely gone.

Fantastic!
When it first came and I saw the box, I wondered if I should even open it based on a few reviews I had read. I opened it anyway and boy am I glad I did. We had purchased two of them, one for my bed and one for my husband's bed. We were replacing the Medicare supplied mattresses that we had replaced in the past. The Medicare mattresses always flopped around when you sat on them, and in very little time they took on the shape and support of a hammock filled with rocks. Every morning we both woke with great pain very little sleep. Okay, now the new one shown above. They looked too thin and not at all what we wanted, BUT......I put them on the beds and we tried them out. FANTASTIC!!!!! Even though they look too thin, they are Not! The construction is something of a miracle. There was no give, but total support and they hold their shape, yet they conform to your body just right. We are both able to take fewer pain medications and we both can get out of bed without pain every day, a real miracle. What you see (the shipping box, then the mattress) are far better than what you are expecting by the look of it all. I was so impressed I told our Pain Management Doctor about them, and he asked for the information about them so he can recommend them to his other patients, as so many have the same complaints we did regarding our mattresses. So we highly suggest you buy this product, and I know the company will be receiving more orders based on ours and our doctors suggestion. Thank you for giving us the relief we needed so much. Oh yes, you can't bet the price and we compared this product to many other brands of mattresses including Tempu-pedic and this mattress bets them all in every aspect. I forgot to add the previous mattres we were using was 76 inch long, we got the 80 inch long size and got rid of the open gap that the dog kept falling through, be sure and measure your frame.
