The media could not be loaded. I bought this printer to upgrade my old one as my partner and I both work from home and need good quality, easy to use printer for work and personal use. As soon as I took it out of the package I was impressed with the quality look. The set up couldn't be simpler. You plug in the printer, turn it on and follow the instructions on the printer screen. Then, to connect your device, scan the QR code, download the app and voilà, ready to print. I love that it is wireless and I can send documents and photos directly from my phone to print. The printing is speedy and good quality. For added security, you can set up an Admin account so if anyone wants to change settings they need to login first. After a while the printer goes on stand by mode and when you send something it automatically reactivates which means I can print things without getting off the sofa. I'm most impressed with the wireless printing, automatic 2-sided printing option and touch screen control panel. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great quality and user friendly printer.

Really impressed so far with this printer. After a very easy set up, it was ready to print and scan within minutes of being plugged in. It supports a wide variety of paper sizes and the double sided printing is a life saver if you are frequently printing large documents as I do. The printing quality is great too, very clear and sharp. Not only is this printer an all rounder for small businesses, it is also great for personal use. It is quiet, compact for what is is and the scan function is great for transferring old photographs to your laptop or phone. All in all, 5 stars from me!

The media could not be loaded. I wasn't exactly sure at how heavy this was, until it arrived! nearly 20Kgs in weight and is really heavy lifting, thankfully a handled box pack which had to be lifted up a set of stairs, but unpackaged and setup withing minutes.The printer needs laid flat and slid out the box (upright) whilst the box is on its side, the packaged printer needs some housekeeping first such as removing transport tabs and stickers, and cable (choice of UK Mains or a European kettle plug is included, approx. 2metre length.)The toners are already installed but don't need touched or pulled out as they are already installed.The Setup was via WIFI on the touch panel and the setup was easy to do so - need to know your WIFI login details and its all down.Set data and time, very easy touch panel controls. The device goes into sleep mode if left for a period of time, and instantly wakes automatically as a print job is requested to it.With a large paper tray and square body it suits being on a desk in a corner that isn't required to be pulled out each time etc.The User Interface is easy to read and can tell at a glance how much toner is left and how full the 'Toner Waste Bottle' is.However being a Laser 'newbie' I was shocked at the replacement costs of toners, and the fact that the toner waste bottle isn't emptiable, but needs replaced at a cost of around £20 - However this shouldn't be anytime soon as apparently it holds something like 15000 pages worth, according to the Lexmark site.I always like to check the value of replacement consumables when buying a printer, and was shocked that toner is (for a new complete set of 1500 pages each colour BCMY, e.g., is priced at more than the price of the actual new printer!)However its early days, as yet, so maybe compatible toners will be available in the near future, or that the asking price will be reduced somewhat (I do prefer original replacements but if they are really expensive, its hardly worth it.However so far the printer is printing really well, and really enjoying it so far in this trial. (wish i had requested the Colour series 4, All in One Printer instead (miss the scanner and copier functions though)The printer is really good at fast speed printing and using double sides of paper, such an improvement over my current Inkjet printer - didn't even have to install the official software it comes with yet, it was already recognised via Windows 11, and Mobile Android Cloud Print too.

The Lexmark C3426dw was delivered in a neat box with good sets of instructions, including a QR code that took you to an online page with videos.Once it was plugged in, and you work through a basic self-explanatory setup, the printer is immediately ready to use with your PC/Mac and even your iPhone. So one the whole, a very easy setup! My only complaint here is that perhaps there is too much disposable plastic packaging as per my photo.The print quality is very good, although comparable and not superior to other printers on the market. I have tested it with documents, colour leaflets, photos, and printed slide decks. The prints have been crisp with great colour representation. I really like the easy connectivity, including mobile printing, and its robust paper handling capabilities with automatic duplex printing.I am not, however, extremely keen on the control display. It serves its purpose I guess - but it has too many options that are not entirely clear from the outset, and the UI/UX is a little blocky and sticky.I am also not totally impressed by its speed (see my video). I found it a little slower than expected for the files I sent its way. This speed may be acceptable for a casual user, but probably not fast enough for a small or medium-sized organisation in my view.Over a decent all-round printer for a multi-device home setup, if a little heavier and clunkier than you may want.

I expect printers nowadays to just work. This one just doesn’t. Designed for a small office with lots of security features, you need to type in a password on a tiny touch screen that’s not very responsive. Gets tiresome very quickly. Still can’t get AirPrint to work- phone just hangs “getting printer information”. Cloud print is a great idea but again just doesn’t work and always get a certificate error. Can only be wired OR wireless not both which isn’t clear. Print quality is ok but nothing stunning.
