Great quality product
This is a wonderfully constructed little cooker. Perfect for backpacking where space and weight is an issue.

Squeeze in some fuel, spark and cook - easy, light and fast
These work so well, I have two of these stoves. I like them because they are simple, hot and lightweight. It takes about 1 oz. of denatured alcohol to boil 10 oz. of water starting at about 60F. There are no moving parts. The fuel will not freeze. With the simmer cover (included), you can regulate the heat output to cook rice and pasta without burning the food. The screw-on cover allows you to snuff out the flame and reseal the stove with unused fuel for the next use.I would recommend adding a lightweight aluminum wind screen for most field uses of this stove to cook faster and therefore use less fuel. I use a flint and steel striker to light this - so no matches. This combination works in any situation and any weather conditions. The bottom of the stove gets hot, so I would not recommend setting the stove on a countertop, but it will not get hot enough to burn wood or glass tabletop. This works so well that I sold all my other camp (propane and white gas) stoves.

Works great. Cheap to fuel.
Did a quick test with some 91% isopropyl alcohol. Took a few minutes for the burner to heat up and keep a steady flame. After that it burns very steady and very hot. It's elevated in the stand, so the surface it's on only gets warm. I placed a pan of water on it and it continued to burn steady and would easily boil a cup of water in only a few minutes.

Let it rip
Have tried this now with two different fuel sources and love it. Denatured alcohol seems to burn hot and clean, while isypropl alcohol seems to burn a bit longer. Both did fine in the wind, and did not spread or jump at all.

Great little alcohol stove!
Couldn’t be any better. Very light, appears to be tough and looks like it will last a long time with no moving parts and solid construction. I’ve used it on two trips now and it’s worked well. I use denatured alcohol exclusively, HEET is supposed to be hotter but harder to handle when it spills or leaks.Don’t expect to cook meals on it but boiling water and heating misc , this is your honeysuckle.
