2 in 1 110V 1.9KW 60A Spot Welder Soldering Iron Staion 709A Battery Welding Machine

Just got so, so far so good.Does the job.I found that I had to turn amp setting to high range, but works and good welds.Saw other review, I disagree not junk!

I purchased this very same Sunkko spot welder/soldering station from another vendor last year. I confess did not purchase it here on Amazon. Upon corresponding with others who have purchased this same spot welder/soldering station, I found that they have experienced the same problems I have. I hope to help others avoid my mistake. First, although this unit is listed as drawing only 1500 watts, it will immediately trip a 15 amp breaker in your home (110 volt service). If all you have available are 15 amp breakers this unit will be completely useless to you. It also tripped 20 amp breakers that I have in my home, but I found that I could use the spot welder on a 20 amp breaker if I turned the power way down upon turning the unit on, then slowly increased the power to about 75%. I couldn't turn the power all the way up, but I could get some battery cells spot welded without tripping the breaker. Second, the soldering station is completely useless. Each time I turned it on it shut off after only a few moments. The soldering station appears to trip some internal, self resetting breaker. After waiting about ten minutes the unit will come on again, but will then shut down again after only a few moments.Bottom line: This is pretty much junk. Buyer beware.
