ULANZIMT-08 Mini Desktop Tripod White

Ulanzi is a good brand for such camera accessories when you don't want to spend a lot of money on a top brand but want to get something reliable. I have bought several such accessories from them in the past and never regretted it.Overview:This tripod is quite good, it's very lightweight and small, it will easily fit in a purse or jacket pocket and maybe even in a pants pocket (not in jeans, they are too tight). The quality is reasonably good and it doesn't feel like it will break apart. It is meant for lighter cameras, I bought it for Osmo Pocket 3, but it will easily take a digital camera or a mirrorless camera. I would not hesitate to put my Panasonic GH5 on it.Ball headIt has a small ball head which works perfectly fine and is very useful. I like having a side groove in the ball head casing which gives you the option to turn the camera a full 90 degrees in that direction. In my testing I had no issues with the ball head sticking or falling. Good quality and reliable.Size and extension rodThis is the main thing. It extends well and doesn't fall back on itself. The quality is overall quite good. But keep in mind that it's a small extension rod. It will get you to take a selfie better than you could without it and if you have long arms you could do vlogging with it as well. I am not sure I will keep mine because I need something just a little bit longer for vlogging shots. I would advise you to check the dimensions of the extension rod and if that works for you then you can buy this without any doubt.ConclusionI would recommend it as a small tripod that you just leave in your pocket and always have at hand when you need it. For a proper extension rod/selfie stick, it might not do as well.
