It is pretty well made. It does not go all the way to the floor it starts about 24" up.

It's actually a peice of wood, not a sticker like I thought. Much studier than I was expecting. It's really pretty and suits the decor. The only thing I didn't like is that the bottom starts with the 2 foot measurement, which makes sense cuz you're not measuring a 6 inch baby against the wall but the way you have to hang it looks weird, I'd rather have it touching the baseboards.

My order came with damage to the bottom and since I didn't hang this up right away I didn't catch it until it was too late. Check your order over carefully.

I've gotten so many compliments on this piece by visitors - everyone just loves it.From the ooh's and ahh's to the "we need one of those"; they all have something to say about it. It's one of those products that everyone wants for themselves or a friend.What I love the most is that it can move with us if we should have to sell our current home; and while that isn't a particular desire right now, I like knowing that I won't have to make the difficult decision to cut out a door frame or say goodbye to the memories. It isn't even a particularly large piece, since you mount it a couple of feet off of the floor and it grows with them to about 5ft. Four inches later is when I stopped growing anyway. It comes ready to use right out of the box and can be mounted or hung. It was folded flat for storage and packaged well with the mounting hardware and plenty of foam to protect it. What an amazingly cute wooden growth chart! I love this so much better than I do the paper ones.This wooden tree with owls is so cute, it is gender neutral, and very sturdy. I like that it can be moved from room to room if need be, or removed from the wall to paint. Plus I love the vibrant colors. I'm an owl-coholic so I absolutely adore this more than I should. But it's owls... who cannot love it.I hung it on my in-law's toyroom wall so all of the grandkids can be measured and initials and dates jotted down. This one won't fade or rip or disintegrate in years like paper charts do.When my son first opened the box he told me I had to put it together, so it took me a while longer than necessary to actually get to it. Then I felt dumb because it does not need to be put together. it's ready to use straight from the box. It only needs hung up. Yes, lesson learned. Don't listen to a 16 yr old who doesn't want to deal with things himself LOL. Received at a discount promo in exchange for my review.

Looks great. Fits solidly onto wall but I did use some sticky pads to attach the bottom end to the wall to stop it moving. You can write the heights on it but I found using stickers was easier.
