This oriental case - plant stand is a high quality piece. The individual who crafted the item truly took pride in his work. The joints fit snugly, the craftsman took care to ensure that the piece was properly sanded. The finish is perfect. It is a very attractive piece and clearly worth the price.

Reviews were a little negative but I decided to buy anyway. Glad I did. They are well made, sturdy and look great holding my 350 year old fish bowls. Finish is bright and shiny. Rough accent band is feature and only embellishes overall look.

Looks good, functions perfectly.
The one we received looks perfectly well finished in a normal living room environment, holding a pot against the wall. May not fit a well-lit close-up view, don’t know, we don’t have any.
