They seem to be pretty tough (no idea what "sheerness" refers to). Hold a single roll-up Ikea mattress with no problems. The handles are where you need them and are attached to straps which wrap around the bag making it more robust.they do the job well.

I can fit a double duvet in here. Or, for example 5 blankets and a pillow. Loads of space. Keeps dust off. Probably not strong enough to be carrying things round in regularly, but a walk to the dry cleaners with it is fine, and I use it for storing things in wardrobe, dust free.

I’ve just moved house and had to pack a ton of clothes - including bulky coats - to go into storage for several months.I was able to pack a load of clothes into the bags. The coats fitted well and were not squashed.The bags are strong and secure and I’m confident that my clothes will stay dry and no moisture will seep in.I recommend these bags.

Massive for storing kit away

Having used these for our house move I was disappointed to discover one of the handles had broken. Now these bags are huge but I expected them to be able to take more weight. Unless I just got a dodgy one.I purchased these for our house move. Originally I got these for all the bedding and pillows. But I used two of them for the clothes hanging in the wardrobes. Hangers and all went in.
