Q: Does this clock chime every hour?

No the clock does not chime every hour. Surprisingly it keeps very accurate time. Remember do not glue or seal the pieces at the back of the clock for easy access to the battery. I have had the clock for several years and it still surprises guests when I tell them it is a puzzle.

Q: where can I get a new quartz mechanism for this clock?

There is one included in the package. If not, I’m sure you can get one at a local hobby shop.
