Good product. Buy from WeeRide
I would definitely recommend this product. It is let down a little bit by sloppy soldering and I also feel that the attachment to the bike would be better if it had a rubber rim in order to prevent it scratching the bike seat post. I made my own out of an old inner tube. It would also be better if it allowed for a tighter turning circle as it occasionally turned my seat when manoeuvring it around gates, tight corners and so on. However, these are minor issues and the product has been such a good addition to our family bike rides that I would still give it five stars. As a result my 4 year old boy was able to join his big sis, my wife and I on many long bike rides this summer. He was on a bike seat before and got very bored. He now pesters us to go out and gets some exercise as well.It is quite light and the wheel spins well meaning it doesn't put to much more strain on the adult rider. It does take some getting use to and you have to remember about the extra length. However, I am sure anybody can quickly learn. The price is reasonable when compared to similar products. You can buy it on Amazon, either from Amazon, or through them direct from Wee-ride. I would suggest the second option. The product was missing a bolt when it came (for the flag). I contacted Amazon and asked them to send the part to me. They told me I would have to return the entire bike and would be given a new one, or I could have a partial refund. This might be good in other circumstances but I live abroad and would have meant a lot of hassle and time for a missing part that is worth no more than a few pence. I connected Wee-ride direct to see if they could help and they sent the part immediately.

Great bike but a little heavy
Great bike. The quick release is excellent for allowing me to quickly detach. Only downside is it’s a little bit heavy.

Great fun
Great purchase. Feels solid on the back and the boy loves it! Yet to take it out when the roads are too busy but it's quick to get used to and provides hours of fun riding together. Just need his legs to grow a bit....

Quality issues but overall good function
The WeeRide is a good, fun-loving and very useable piece of sport gear. Tag-alongs really is a neat idea.Pros:Good value for money, fits any bike, easy installation and use, child-friendly, easy to fold. The gears aren't as much of actual use with young kids as they are a way them to learn and play around. For kids older than say, five or six, it gets better since they start to add some throttle. My kid mostly just cruises and watches me do the work, but then again he's only five and I'm a cycle nerd and an experienced rider so he doesn't contribute much anyways.Cons:Manufacture quality is so-so, with no more than decent finishing. The bottom bracket bearing is some cheap China crap that creates drag if you tighten it and clicks/rattles if you loosen it.The anchor that fits around the seat-post must be tightened hard and may stress a modern thin aluminium post so that with time it breaks. The swivel function simply doesn't offer enough turning capacity; if you corner tightly it will lock the bike down until the tension forces the bracket to lose its position. That may lead to a saddle pointing sideways or the bracket scraping up your seat-post, depening on what you tightened more. The fender is a complete joke, with ONE frail point of attachment. Won't last long.Buying aluminium doesn't really offer much in terms of weight reduction, but I couldn't find steel with gears.I suppose this goes for all tag-alongs, but be warned: When your child swivels around or hits the pedals hard it jerks your bike around. One needs to keep good margins./Björn (Stockholm, Sweden)

Cheap expensive junk, but fun
We bought this (from weeride) so our 4 year old could join the rest of us on longer bike rides during lockdown. Wasn't keen on towbars and came across these. Only went for the pro model as it's the only one I could get hold of.Given its almost double the cost of their lower end model I thought it would be a quality product, especially with "pro" being the model name. I was a bit shocked when I assembled it tbh. The welds are shockingly bad. The Allan key supplied didn't fit the mudguard bolts (yes I have others, but really!!). The handlebars bolt protrodues the frame. The paint was chipped out the box. The crank is really rough metal. When I fitted the pedals, a bit of metal but got stuck in my fingertip which I had to remove with a scalpel the following day. The metal bracket to fit to the host seat post has no rubber grip inside so be prepared to make your own or damage your seat post. The chain came off when I was assembling - getting it back on is a nightmare.I gave some feedback to weeride and their response was basically no one else has complained before and they've sold loads, so there. My review of this bike is that it's cheap Chinese junk...but not many options around. The good news is my son loved his first ride on it and we hope to have many more adventures for as long as it lasts.
