Made a massive difference to my prints and bed adhesion!!But do note you'll need to adjust the extrusion rate, which you can find through installation guides on YouTube easily enough. Without that adjustment which requires a bit of maths, it can cause more harm

Excellent build quality and fit

The gear that holds on to the stepper motor shaft needs the stepper motor shaft to be the 20mm ones. Ender 5 Plus' stock 42-40 stepper motor has a 15mm shaft. Do not buy if that's the case for you.The list in the description about the machines it supports has to be changed as it is heavily misleading.

I found 2 issues with this product, firstly the spring used to set the tension is a little overpowered so you may need to omit installing the metal cap (but retain it) on the end of the screw to allow a little more adjustment until the spring tension eases through use.Secondly, the supplied grub screw in the gear to attach to the stepper motor is a 2mm flat grub screw, and it's a little too short for the flat plane of the drive shaft and comes unscrewed making the extruder prone to slipping, its also very poor quality metal. Swapping to a 3mm grub screw I removed from a spare extruder gear resolved the problem.

No instructions and when finally installed was very poor.

UPDATE7 months in and was having issues with extrusion, I noticed the gear was wobbling, the screw used to hold the gear with the 2 bearings inside has a screw thread, it has worn with pretty average use in 7 months. this screw/bolt needs upgrading from the start

Très bon produit, l'extrusion est clairement mieux qu'avec la pièce d'origine de ma cr10s première génération.Par contre ça n'est pas précisé, mais il faut modifié le paramètre E de l'imprimante. En fait l'engrenage ne fait pas la même taille, il faut donc rentrer le paramètre dans l'imprimante sinon la machine sous extrude.Hors le problème chez creality, c'est que les réglages du micrologiciel (marlin) sont verrouillé. Il faut donc remplacer le micrologiciel d'origine par une version open source de marlin. Ce qui m'a pris 3-4h. La valeur théorique c'est de remplacer la valeur E de 100 par 139.Rien d'insurmontable donc, mais j'aurais bien aimé savoir tout ça avant d'acheter la pièce.

Viene desmontado y sin manual pero hay videos de como montarlo por ahí, que es mejor que cualquier manual. Decir que este es el modelo nuevo que tiene corregido el desgaste del brazo por la segunda polea. Se han añadido arandelas de acero a la polea y se ha redondeado la base del engranaje, problema solucionado.Se instala muy fácil y el número de pasos teórico por mm para microstepping de 16 es 140. Yo lo puse así en el Marlin y funcionó sin problemas, pero recordar restaurar valores por defecto después de flashear porque yo lo olvidé y...El extrusor agarra el filamento con fuerza y ya no me da miedo que se agriete y me deje tirado como el de plástico que tenía de serie la TINA2 donde lo he puesto. El de plástico que tenía funcionaba bien, pero este dual-gear metálico es mejor y me da tranquilidad.Buena, barata, bonita y recomendable actualización.

Der Spannarm meines alten Plastikextruders vom stock Ender 3v2 brach vor ein paar Tagen. Mir viel dies zunächst gar nicht richtig auf, aber die Druckqualität nahm rapide ab.Das Teil hier ist 10-mal so gut wie das alte. Gerade das Doppelrollen-Prinzip gibt endlich genug Druck und Kontraktion auf das Filament, so dass insbesondere schnelle Retractions/Rückzüge präzise umgesetzt werden. Die Qualität ist nochmal deutlich besser, als die vom Stock-Extruder!10/10! Kann jedem dieses Upgrade ans Herz legen.
