Learnt about how to use this for multiple things recently and thought I’d give it a try. It’s great, got rid of KP bumps on my arms, made my leg skin soft and even helped my itchy scalp - it’s a multi use item. Good size of bottle and lasts a long time, just read up on it properly before uses and different parts of the body need special instruction

This was my first ever purchase of the Ordinary brand and I absolutely do not regret it. I initially brought this because I was a little insecure about the discolouration of my face and neck where my area was a little darker than the rest of my skin although it’s completely natural. I used it consistently for about a month and a half, applying it every night and began to see my skin tone start to even out and only stopped because I just couldn’t be bothered oops.Smell-wise, it’s not really bad and I can only explain it as salty???I put it on at night after cleansing my face and then in the morning put on 35 spf sun cream regardless of the British weather to avoid any damage to my skin as this product using an alpha hydroxy acid thy at increases sensitivity to the sun (these direction are also on the back of it).One more convenient thing is it comes with two different types of lids: one screw on and a squirty one which makes it so convenient to apply to a cotton pad.

I use this on my underarms. It lightened the skin and I have not used any deodorant since using this. Very effective. I will order again.

This actually helps my skin texture a lot! Every time that I'd use it at night, the next day I can visibly see a huge difference in how bright my complexion is and it also helps to reduce my breakouts. I love this for the brightening affect it has on my skin and how well it smooths everything out. Though I will say, that this does still tingle my skin and may not be suitable for those with super sensitive skin that isn't used to acids. I would recommend beginners to just try it once or twice a week instead of everyday so you don't irritate your skin! As for how the 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 goes - I usually just drip some of it onto my hands then apply it on my face that way. Some may prefer to also use this with a cotton pad but I feel that would cause even more exfoliation for me so I don't do this personally. 💧 The 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 is very thin, just like water, but is a beige/copper color. The bottle is also huge for the price you pay for, I'm sure it'll last me a long time especially since I only use it every so often. I always make sure to follow up with a heavy moisturizer afterwards since this can be potentially be too much for the skin barrier, so it's best to use a repairing and active free moisturizer. ✨ 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹, I would recommend this to those who are used to using acids and know to be gentle with their skin barriers since this can be a bit strong for some. But it overall has worked amazingly on my skin texture and has helped with bringing more radiance to my skin! It also helps to lighten up my hyperpigmentation a bit gradually so I'm happy about that! ☀️

I’m embarking on a journey with slightly cheaper skincare (which is not ideal considering my peri-menopausal, ageing and changing skin but the economy in the UK is what it is). Anyway, I bought this some months back as a much cheaper alternative to dermalogica, and a slightly cheaper alternative to pixi vitamin c toner.I’ve not been disappointed but it’s too astringent on my skin. It shouldn’t be used as a regular twice daily toner. Maybe on younger skin but not on changing, ageing skin. As a 20 something I’d have loved this compared to my Clinique regimen for its value.I like to know my cleanser has done its job and I have used exfoliates weekly, regularly for years but this alone is too astringent for the winter and for sun exposed skin in my opinion and at my age.Overuse promoted breakouts and excess oils to be produced. And I was stuck having either well exfoliated and almost glowing skin (over producing oils to repair) with flaky, oily breakouts or dull dry skin.I’ve still got loads left and try to avoid using it on my face unless I have an oily hormonal breakout I want to dry up.My teenager suffers from some back acne and occasionally around their shin and mouth and a few days sweeping this over their skin does help to dry things up.
