Until I got this phone holder I had to hold my phone on my lap and keep the stereo turned off in order to hear the directions to various places, using Google Maps. If I'm in an area I've never been to before, it's pretty important to be able to hear things like: "Take the next right" etc. The phone volume was turned all the way up, but with road noise it just wasn't loud enough to clearly hear directions. Now that's not a problem. I can even have the stereo on and still hear the directions. I installed my phone holder on my windshield, just below the rear-view mirror, so when I put my phone in the holder, it's right there in front of me, but not blocking my view. Not only can I hear the directions, but now I can clearly SEE what the map is showing, with just a glance. The holder is real easy to use. You just set your phone in the 'cradle' and snug up the adjustable sides. When you're done, one touch of a button in back releases the phone. The holder is very adjustable, with many different ways to position it, so you'll most likely be able to find a place to install it and adapt to your vehicle and circumstances. I'm really glad I have this now; it makes things SO much easier, especially when I'm going somewhere I'm not familiar with. Just be sure to follow the instructions it comes with (on yellow stickers) about how to tighten it, and which direction to turn the ring that makes the suction cup adhere. I recommend it!

I wondered if it could hold a phone without it falling while driving down a rough road cause I live in the country and it has been amazing even with it extended out the suction still held. Its simple to use and can easily stick to plastic or the windshield and even the sun roof if needed and it’s easy to use when putting the phone in or removing it.
