The Nightmare Before Christmas: The Official Baking Cookbook

This is a very well designed and creative baking book. It has plenty of sweet and savory treats and fun things to make with your family or friends! I bought this for myself because I am a huge fan of The nightmare Before Christmas movie and I love cooking and baking. I am not a professional, I try recipes I see on books and internet and I have done a couple of my own but I have no education in baking at all, just the try and error method.I found book's pages bright colored, thick and with the perfect contrast to do an easy reading. The cover is very thick and the book is quite heavy actually, definitely made to lay on a counter instead of being held all the time. I love the fact that the recipes have a level on them so you can understand how much time, effort and work they may take to do. Also most of the recipes have their pictures so you know how the desserts should look. An awesome addition to my cooking/baking hobbies.

I bought this for my mother in law, who is obsessed with The Nightmare Before Christmas and loves cooking and baking, so I already know she’s going to freak when she opens this! The pages are bright colored, and thick. The cover is very thick and the book is quite heavy actually, definitely made to lay on a counter instead of being held all the time. The back even had the official Disney logo for copyright purposes! The book did have a tiny rip in the side of the spine towards the front of the book, but with the amount of use the book will get, i don’t think it’s going to be a big deal, and could’ve been caused by shipping or whoever packaged the order. It looks almost like someone grabbed it and their nail pushed it in, but again, it’s tiny and not a big deal at all!
