Gluten-Free, Organic Buckwheat Sweet Potato Pasta Noodles 6-PACK by King Soba

Excellent product. Cooks almost immediately in boiling water, and super healthy with great taste and consistency. Hard to find in stores, even here in NYC (!) so I'm grateful that we can buy it online. Arrived in excellent condition, although the shipping time was rather slow. We eat the noodles hot in soup with vegetables, or cold, straight from the frig in salad. Very good food for vegans. Try the noodles with tempeh or tofu and sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms. Wonderful product. We'd like to know if we can buy a full case because one package goes so quickly!???

I am very fussy about my soba. There aren't many choices when it comes to soba noodles made from mostly buckwheat flour, esp. organic... I wasn't sure about the sweet potato thing, but after trying it, I have come to really love the taste and flavor of this soba. It is excellent either as zaru soba (cold) or as regular hot soba. The texture is a little different from the standard Japanese soba - a bit chewier - but I actually started liking that... and w/ a little adjustment in boiling time and salt added to raise the boiling temperature, I've been able to achieve just the right al dente texture for my preference. The starchy liquid left over from boiling the noodles actually makes for a delicious broth when seasoned w/ the soba noodle broth, so I hesitate to throw it away. I'll definitely be ordering more. I also appreciate the fact it is organic, but maybe it's a bit pricey for something produced in China...Keep in mind these are very small packages - each package is only about 1/2 lb, so that's enough for 2 hungry adults, so I ended up going through this pretty quickly. It would be much better if they came in 12 oz or 16 oz packages.

Wonderful pasta! Most gluten free pastas are disappointing, but this one is fantastic! Very healthy, with fiber and iron. Great texture. Also, most gluten free pastas are made with rice, which contains dangerous levels of arsenic according to Consumer Reports. This product is rice-free.

This is really tasty buckwheat soba. The sweet potato in it makes it a bit less "earthy". I like this soba cold (cooked) with a drizzle of sesame oil. Serve with warm miso or dashi!

Do Not Buy this. The product description clearly says:King Soba 6-PACK Gluten Free, Organic Buckwheat & Sweet Potato Pasta Noodles 8.8oz - 3 Servings Per Pack" and charged 16.60. I got ONE pack of this noodle instead of SIX today. It's from UK. Is this a joke or something? I never experienced this kind of lie from a seller on Amazon. Unbelievable!!!!

The soba doesnt taste as good as the soba here in Japan but it is organic, which is good.The one thing that is a huge downside to me is that it was made in CHINA.So I wont be buying these again.

Tasty, close to the taste of real soba.

Love these noodles! Great tasting and fast to prepare. Exceeded my expectations! Will buy again.
