Good shirt for the price.
I'm a carpenter/cabinet maker and wore Carhartt shirts forever. They stopped making the heavyweight shirt with the flaps on the pockets. Not a good idea, I don't like my pockets getting filled up with sawdust. Not quite as heavy of cotton as the 8oz Carhartt but still heavy and comfortable. I liked it enough to buy another one. I recommend it, for the price you can't beat it.

Weld splatter burned right through both sleeves
Not sure where they came up with the fire retardant rating but I burned holes through both sleeves within 30 minutes of wearing it with weld splatter. This resulted in burns and blisters on both arms.

GREAT Shirt
This is a high-quality work shirt, easily comparable to the other big name work shirt company's shirts. The material on this shirt is thick, heavy cotton and I have no doubt of its durability. Bonus for me is that it is flame resistant so I don't have to worry about the occasional ember. The fit on this shirt is excellent; I usually wear an XL, but I can squeeze into an L if I had to. This XL is a true XL, nice and roomy through the shoulders, chest, neck, and arms. I've worn it both tucked and untucked; the XL isn't overly long (like a skirt), so it can easily be worn out (I'm 5'11").Only knock that I have on this shirt is the logo on the left sleeve - it is kind of goofy. It says, "Work Weya", but I removed it before anyone could laugh at me.
