I have a large gem pointer and he really hates his nails being clipped at the vets and because his nails are black, it’s really hard to cut them myself, so we tried this nail file and it works really really good, we do have to feed our dog ham to let us follow his nails but it’s really effective, it’s not too noisy, it’s very sturdy and good value for money.

This is an excellent product. My dog is now 3 years old and has been terrified of nail clippers since I nicked the quick when she was a puppy. She wouldn't let me hold a paw let alone use the clippers. I bought these and spent ages hand feeding her dinner every night beginning with just holding each paw and then after a few days touching the grinder to each paw, then building up to the grinder being on etc. Now I can trim her claws with ease. I love the fact that it has lights so I can see what I'm doing. Being cordless and rechargeable is fantastic. It is not too noisy, just a humming noise and you can select the speed. All round thumbs up. 👍

Works well and much easier than a clippers. Our dog has very thick dark nails but this has no problem with them. It's a bit loud but charge lasts for ages.

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased this nail grinder that had two guards to prevent catching long hair, which was a common issue with other grinders I had used in the past. After reading positive reviews, I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. The grinder is quiet, easy to use, has different speeds and the light is a great feature.I first trimmed my dog's nails with a regular nail clipper and then used the grinder to round out any rough edges. The dust produced mostly collected in the guard attachments, which was a nice bonus. But I especially appreciated the fact that there was no danger of hair getting caught around the spindle.Overall, I couldn't find any negatives with this grinder. It's a great tool for keeping my dog's nails trimmed and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a safe and effective nail grinder for their dog .

My 16yr old Jack Russel rescue came to us with longer than average nails as her nails had never previously been cut before the rescue centre did it. As a result, they quickly become too long , so require regular attention. Initially we used to get her nails trimmed at the vets as part of a package we had with them, but over the years my dog has started to find this more and more stressful, so I decided to try doing it myself.Initially I tried clipping thm, but she was just too frightened by that, so I decided to use a grinder instead. My previous grinders have just not been up to the task. They were either too loud and scared my dog, or they took far too long to grind down a single nail, so I was only able to complete 1 or 2 nails before my dog had had enough. Even when she was relaxed enough for me to continue, the battery would run out before I could do much more.This Casfuy is quieter than any other I have tried, although the noise gets louder when the nail touches the grinder, but it is so much more powerful. It only takes a few seconds to reduce a nail sufficiently, so I can now do 2 paws in one sitting before my dog's had enough, although this is getting better each time I use it. It also has a light that shines directly onto the nail, helping me to see where the quick is. I am so happy to have found this grinder, and finally feel I can manage my dogs nails at home.

Bought this based on the great reviews shown and whilst the product is good, the charge lasts no time at all which is really poor when you are trying to file all the claws on an anxious dog.

Great product, not exactly quiet! But does the job even though my dog was scared before

First it is very safe to use on my dog nail that are long and curved under. Love the led light it showed exactly where was the nerve. My dog (highland westies) has a combination of light and dark nails.I was able to grind at a fast speed even at the lowest speed. I only used the black top since the clear top was for smaller nails. I was able to do all his nails, extremely long and the batteries was still giving me full speed. It also charges rather fast. Overall this is my 4th make for nail grinders and is the best I have owned, I would recommand it to all who needs one. For the price, it is worth it. It is very light in the hand and so easy to manipulate in various angles. My dog loved it, he layer down on his back relaxing as if he was in a spa.I'll keep using it and see how the battery last over time and the diamond bit.

I purchased this because I noticed my 14 year old dogs dew claw was growing back into her paw. It took both my husband I for the job. It worked better than I thought it would. It was quiet but powerful enough to safely grind down the nails. The guard made it easy and she feels so much better. It's definitely a good value for the price and it is well made and easy to clean.
