This backdrop is great for the novice and experienced photographer. This blank backdrop will motivate your creativity. Many phone and camera apps will allow you to apply a background.The backdrop is lightweight but thick enough to block out neutral colored walls. For best results I suggest hanging the backdrop on a blank colored wall with no wall pictures.

Good: Very opaque, very stable and uniform colorNot-Good: The material doesn't unroll flat and keeps a certain "wavy" surface. I tried to capture this in one of my photos. If it doesn't get compressed too badly after upload you should be able to see vertical "stripes" in the shadows on the white surface - those are from ambient lighting. The wavyness is really highlighted by any short throw or high angle lighting so you really can't light this backdrop from behind somebody for example. I had a seat about 4 feet from the backdrop and a short throw projector behind the seat throwing up onto the backdrop and the wavyness on this backdrop completely mauls any patterns and makes shadows.So this backdrop is fine for ambient light or long distance / diffuse lighting, just don't try any high angle or close up lighting with it. I'll call that four stars.
