Clauss 33403 6-inch Stainless Steel Floral Lanyard 6" Cutter

The handle is a descent size, but the blades aren't very long as my other bunch cutters. I'm hoping that these will be durable for my floral projects. Arrived at a reasonable time and packaged deacently.

I am a floral designer with many sets of shears and clippers. I have two other pairs of Clauss clippers that I love! They unfortunately don’t have the exact ones anymore so I settled for these. They’re weak and the spring sticks! Works fine for smaller stems (delphinium, snaps, etc), but I know it won’t be easy for anything with a woodier stem.

The cutter worked well but the loop gets in the way. I did not receive a pouch.

I received a product made in China. It is a poor cutting cousin to the same item made in Korea. The differences are the lock does not stay locked. The screw holding the lock lever is constantly loosening. The lanyard is much lower quality material and broke the first week I used it. These are minor compared to the lack of sharpness of the blade. I use these to cut gaff tape, and often the tape slips between the blades. If the Korean produced shears are available I will buy those. I leave this pair out of my dity bag hoping they get stolen.

It works, but didn't quite work for what I needed to use it for; not returning them, but will keep them for smaller projects and smaller cutting of flowers.

Spring got broken in 2 days. I am going to return another one and would love to return broken too since they promised it " will withstand the toughest task and continue delivering over extended use".
