Excellent cup. No it's not a super duper thermos. This isn't for when you want coffee to still burn your mouth in 4 hours. It's perfect for my short commute or to even have at my desk and enjoy over a longer period of time.It is very very leakproof. Even when not double locked.

I normally never give full 5 stars because nothing is perfect. Had this been out of 10 I would have given it 9, but 4 out of 5 in this case is not good enough so have given it 5.First I was going to buy the more expensive stainless steel coffee cup version like friends of ours did which is how we got to know about Circular & Co. But after our friends said they had to leave the lid off after a while to let the coffee cool down they suggested we buy the plastic version. It was good advice, if we want drinks to remain hot for hours then you use a flask, as we do when hiking. But if you are in a hurray and rushing out the door, or you are going to be deep in thought for over an hour at your desk and just want to sip your coffee over an extended period, then a plastic coffee cup of this design is ideal.To that end we decided the 8oz coffee cup was ideal for us, so we bought one each to try it. It is not a vacuum flask design like the stainless steal versions, the inside is the same coloured plastic as the top. To stop you burning your fingers they have this recycled plastic cup material on the outside as an insulator. Clearly this cup will lose it's heat quicker than a vacuum flask version but not as quick as a cup that didn't have an insulator on the outside. I tested it last night and after 1hr 20min I removed the lid and while the top of the liquid was still warm enough to be drinkable deeper down it was almost too hot still to drink. A shake and it would have been still pleasantly hot again.Our conclusion, this is cup is ideal for extending the coffee life beyond 1hr. Those writing reviews here moaning that the plastic coffee cup doesn't last long, are clearly competitors trying to rubbish this product. That said, I have no way of knowing the longevity of this cup but with a 2yr guarantee and a 10yr promise with clearly considerable thought going into it's design of a lockable lid, as a retired engineer this looks as if it will last to me.

We have purchased a number of these over the years, great travel cup. Love the click style, you can drink from any angle. Easy to use.Not a thermos cup, although keeps your drink warm for decent length of time.Good value for money.

This is a good mug & concept, no leaks. Only one issue, doesn't keep drink hot very long, about 20/30mins.

Had one of these for a while but wanted something bigger for my morning tea on the train.This version is a big upgrade on the lid, it's really easy to use it the best feature is a built in lock so the lid doesn't open if something knocks hard into it - this only happened once on my previous one but it did result in a flood of tea in my bag and down my back!The size is big, you'd want a size down for a normal sized mug but it's perfect for what I wanted.These cups don't keep your tea hot for ever like a thermos but that's not the point. Filled with boiling water it comes to a good drinking temperature in about 45 mins and is hot/warm for probably another 45 mins.Love these cups so it's great they made them even better - plus it's made of recycled plastic!

For some reason the one of the features requested for rating is 'Flavour' which is just odd. I can confirm this is not a flavoured cup.My requirements for a cup were what I felt was pretty simple, but I struggled to find one that would fulfil all needs:* Usable at Work* Leak Proof - including when placed upside down in a bag, or I throw my bag in the car* Large enough to have a decent amount of liquid* Believe it or not: NOT to keep liquids at Molten temperatures. I don't want my coffee to still be 100 degrees after 30 minutes, I need it to cool down a bit so I can drink it!* Easy enough to wash in a small sink - we don't have large cup cleaning facilities at work* Dishwasher proof for an every so often deep clean* Able to fit under the Starbucks machine at work so that I'm not throwing away non-reusable cups each time* Sensible to drink from (i.e. opening)* Reasonably pricedI'm happy to report that this cup meets all of these requirements and the company behind it appear to be really great too. They have a decent 2 year warranty (if your cup fails early), a takeback program (if your cup ceases to operate after many years of life) and spare parts! (if your cup hasn't failed totally).

Keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold for about half an hour. Great to take out with you into the garden, in the car etc. Can lock lid by turning the lid using the two dots on the top, as well as closing and opening the lid by pressing down as in previous models. I bought the blue one- which is vibrant. Easy to clean.
