This large metal planter came in a box with remarkebly little packaging to protect it. Fortunately, mine did arrive without damage or dents but with the way parcels are thrown around this was more luck than packaging management.The planter is large, made of a thin metal and has a brushed gold finish to it. If you love gold or it compliments your decoration, then this is a classy looking addition to a room. It has a nice bowl curve to it and is suitable for wide but not very tall plant pots.A friend commented that it would look lovely with dried hydrangea heads sprayed gold and silver put in it for Christmas. I've got some cracking dark burgundy hydrangeas which I shall use to decorate the bowl for the festive season with a couple of gold sprayed ones for contrast. After that, it will return to being a planter for my banana.A bit on the expensive side but if gold planters are your 'thing', this is classy and quality.

This is very attractive and aesthetically pleasing, modern yet classically stunning. It's incredibly well manufactured, flawless finish. It's definitely a premium and luxury plant pot.

This gold coloured plant pot comes packed upside down inside a large, plain cardboard box with the Olly & Rose logo stuck on with a sticker.The pot is widest toward the bottom, so keep this in mind when measuring up.It feels like it is made of solid metal that has been painted gold.The finish isn't particularly good, with lots of spots, holes, and defects in it, and a slightly cracked and ridged texture. Given the price point (£80 at time of writing), I had expected it to be of far better quality.It looks good at a distance, but on closer inspection it looks a touch shabby.As it has no drainage holes, this is unsuitable for use outside.

This quite a large plant pot and when situated in the right place can make an attractive center piece.The finish isn't the best I must admit, but I personally don't mind this as it gives it a more of an antique look.I have mine outside under our gazebo and it's currently holding a big spider plant and I do love the way the leaves hang down around thee pot so you only get a hint of the gold.Lovely pot, a bit expansive but it does a great job of making a statement.

This large Olly & Rose gold metal pot is wrongly described on the sales page at the time of this review – it doesn't come with a plant stand and isn't black. The measurements are also slightly wrong – it's 26cm at the opening, 29cm at its widest point and 22cm high. The rim is slightly sharp but, overall, my rubber plant's going to look great.Do I think it's worth the high price? The wrong description doesn't help but it's an eye-catching indoor planter that, in case anyone is querying this, doesn't have holes in the bottom so won't need to go on a plant tray, 4*

This large metal pot is ideal for any large plants you might have, the metal is thin and is a nice colour gold.To me its like something you would get from the home section of a posh shop.I have measured the pot and the height is approx. 21 cm high x 25 cm wide.I have not been using the pot long enough to see how it will stand up to wear but will update this review if there is any negative points to report.
