Tastes Delicious
The media could not be loaded. I’ve never heard of Agave nectar sweetener before, so I was pleased to be able to trial this. Firstly, it’s a slightly misleading name…..as it’s made from agave syrup, not actually from the flower nectar! But aside from this, as a cane sugar substitute I really can’t fault it - it comes in the form of a super-fine white powder, which to me tasted exactly like icing sugar, with absolutely no aftertaste. Since I don’t use sugar in my drinks, I decided to use this to bake with, however despite googling recipes for baking with agave nectar, all I could find were ones using the liquid syrup version of the same and not this powder form- and the snowflake scan link on the rear of the packet to the website which was supposed to include baking ideas didn’t appear to have any either. In the end, I opted for a brownie recipe I’d used before, substituting the caster sugar for agave nectar as per the conversion on the back of the pack ( 500g sugar = 350g agave). And the results were really impressive….cooking time was identical, and they tasted exactly the same as when using the caster sugar version. All in all, I’m really impressed with this sugar substitute -it’s super-sweet ( so you use less than if you were using cane sugar), it tastes delicious, and it works well for baking. However, I’d probably only buy again if the price-point was similar to ordinary sugar.

Great for low calorie alternative
This agave nectar sweetener is a great alternative to sugar. It’s 100% natural, vegan, and sourced from Mexican farms. The powdered texture makes it easy to use in baking, tea, or as a topping. It’s 50% sweeter than sugar, so you need less for the same great taste. Plus, with its low glycemic index, it offers slow-releasing energy without the sugar crash. It’s also gut-friendly with natural prebiotics and free from gluten or allergens. A perfect choice for anyone looking for a healthier, delicious sweetener.

50x sweeter than sugar?
There is absolutely no sweetness from this I've been using 2 heaped teaspoons in my tea and coffee.(Didn't think I'd need that much) And absolutely no sweet taste. No honey resemblance. Just white powder. Awful

Sweet Natured Agave Nectar Sweetener
It's absolutely lush! Not only is it a healthy alternative to sugar, but it's a very lovely flavour, too. It's sweet, so a little goes a long way. Because it's made of agave nectar, a 100% natural healthy sweetner. I want more! It's currently out of stock here, so I'm going to have to wait until they restock it to purchase more. Also, it's cruelty free and suitable for a vegan diet, so it's better than honey, too.
