I'm an amateur artist. I love to draw, but with 4 kids, I rarely have time. I bought this set for myself as a treat for when I carve out some me time. I'm very happy with this set. I've never used varying shades of graphite pencils before. So, this was fun to experiment with. They draw smoothly and sharpen well.Definitely can't beat the price either!

Extremely Affordable
I am blown away at how affordable this drawing and sketching set is. There are 16 drawing pencils of levels, soft and hard. Charcoal, vine charcoal, erasers, a sharpener, smudge tools, and more are all for around $10! The ones I've been using go for almost $2 for one pencil. This drawing set is excellent for beginners to get set up, learn the differences between the different levels of pencils, and try out charcoals.

Nice set to get started
I got this set for my ten-year-old son, he's finally graduating from the kids' "art kits" to ACTUAL art supplies for his drawing - this is a good selection of items to get him started, along with a set of good alcohol markers and some new sketchbooks.
