Found this tile, thinking I could make a passable threshold transition between wood floors (will use this tile to make a flush transition between the east-west and the north-south wood flooring instead of the lumpy painful threshold previous owners installed) in our house.Well. The tile arrived today, and it is stunning! Cannot wait to chisel out more of the wood to fit the tile (whoever installed the wood did a terrible job. Like many other things in our house.) The tile is on a mesh back, so I cut off 3 strips to fit the hallway. It looks like it could be easily cut with a wet saw too, but for this project, strips are needed.The tile has a shimmery, lightly reflective quality that will both complement and slightly contrast with the surrounding wood. Already thinking of more uses, may order a few more sheets for an upcoming bathroom project. Gorgeous earthy tones, not flat or boring.There are 4 tiles in each strip. Each individual tile is 1 inch by 3 inches, and the mesh backing provides spacing between them. Will only need spacers between the strips. Cannot wait to get this installed!
