Bought for my grandson Christmas gift .loves it

I bought this for my 3 yr old, she can maneuver it well but has challenges on hills. I would have waited until she was 4 just so she would be stronger. The handlebars turn sometimes and I have to realign them back up with the front wheel because the bolt doesn’t fully tighten around the handlebars on a permanent setting but this isn’t often or a huge deal. She still loves to ride it around.

The box was kind of destroyed when we recieved it. Thought all the hardware was missing. Turns put it is pre-installed on the bike.

My son absolutely loves it. Schwinn had the tricycle built by Pacific Cycle in China (I'm not knocking China, I have my own manufacturing plant that I own there) who conveniently placed their sticker on the frame. The welding is very good quality overall and made of actual steel!! The paint is a 9 out of 10 with very small defects on a couple corners where coverage was chipped. If I continued nitpicking there are several tiny issues including cosmetic things. The stickers like the one on the seat are wrinkled and creased. The tires are inflatable like car tires but don't have caps on the stems. The tires are very nice with rotation arrows for direction of rotation but all are mounted rotating backwards. There are other things like a pair of screws to mount a part to the frame that don't match. The size and threads are different so we just drove them in with our electric Dewalt screwdriver ( it will hold just fine). I went into such detail so you can feel like you know exactly what you will receive. Overall i would buy this product over and over again!!!

My son absolutely loved the look of this tricycle. Assembling was easy, but while assembling I realized the parts look a little too fragile. I had to unbend the rear fenders since one was touching the wheel and the other was very misaligned. As we rode on the street he got compliments from strangers about how cool his trike was. On the third ride the left pedal fell and I can't find a way to do a quick fix, it is broken on the inside. Very fragile plastic.I just contacted the vendor asking for a replacement pedal under warranty. I'll update the review once I finish dealing with the broken pedal.I am deeply concerned this beautiful trike is not going to last for years...Edit: I also noticed that the seat is uncomfortable and leaves bruises in my child's lower back. I will have to find a way to cushion the back somehow.Edit: called support (Pacific Cycle) and they told me to email them since the call center is closed due to Covid. Emailed them, got an acknowledgement by a bot and nothing else: 10 days of silence so far. I bought a replacement pedal on Ebay for $15 and I don't know how much it will last. I still want a free pedal replacement from Pacific.Edit: just don't buy this trike.

This trike is Amazing!!!! We were so impressed with it that as soon as it arrived we went ahead and ordered another one for one of my other grandsons birthdays. It has a bell and real tassels ( not plastic) on the handlebar and a wooden step bar along the back. Very well built and good looking!!!! All of the adults wished they could ride it! Very special toy, so cool that we purchased the second one within 30 minutes!

Got the pieces out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised there wasn't a hundred bolts and screws and parts to deal with. It was straightforward to assemble, I would have been fine putting it together even if there was no manual.It looks great, metal frame and fits right in style-wise with our adult bikes. It has a cool wooden step on the back tires with the Schwinn logo burned in.Now onto the bad news. The handlebar has a tough time keeping aligned with the front tire. It has a clamp but no matter how much I tighten it still seems to slip. We took our son out for a 15 minute ride the day we got it and then again the next day. right away on the second day one of the pedals broke off, we tried snapping it back on but as soon as he put pressure on it again it would slip off. The pedal itself is still fine, just the way it's engineered to attach to the crank arm isn't very secure, we're hoping some heavy duty glue will allow it to stick.
