Finding Bigfoot: Everything You Need to Know (Animal Planet) Hardcover – August 13, 2013

This is the companion piece to the popular Animal Planet Highly-rated Series and it is a good one, though certainly written more for the younger set. It gives the reader all the basics for researching this topic, such as what to take into the field, camping tips, what foods to leave out, what to look for in the field and other important things to remember. There are also profiles of the four cast members, recipes, jokes and even recommended books and websites on Bigfoot. Two things about this book bothered me a bit, though-the constant use of the grammatically incorrect term Bigfoots (which any English teacher will quickly educate the kids on) and the P/G Film location being in Humboldt County, CA, when in fact it was Del Norte County. Now, of course I realize the usage of Bigfoots is to denote more than one, but to me it would be simpler and less confusing to kids to use Bigfoot creatures. Having said that, though, this is a good book and worthy of being on all Cryptozoology bookshelves, or your kid's bedside table. I do recommend it.

There was some information that was not pertaining to Bigfoot. Although, there was some information on Bigfoot, but, to me it was poorly written . I am not real pleased with the writers evidence of information in this book. But, I will keep the book and get some interested information out of it. I will try other Bigfoot books to get what I need in information.

The book is just what I was looking for. It will be a Christmas gift.

My son loves this book. There is a lotOf information and pictures in here. The words are really small, which kind of make it hard to read. Overall, it is a good book for bigfoot lovers!

Bought this for my 8 year old who became obsessed with Bigfoot over night. The book has great pictures and has held up well. She enjoyed reading it and sharing the information with me.

My kiddos liked the book, though they weren't as excited as I was to receive it (two boys, ages 6 & 8). They looked at it for a couple of days and haven't cracked the book open since. I thought they would be more into it. Great photos and information though. Definitely would be awesome for a child obsessed with bigfoot.

My 10 year old nephew was thrilled to receive this book, along with a Bigfoot hunting kit for Christmas. This is a good size book with a lot of excellent information in it. Lots of pictures, and written in a way that it can be perused and enjoyed by children and adults alike. I can't wait to go camping with my nephew, who is surely now an expert Bigfoot hunter.

If you have a young child interested in cryptids, this is a great book to start them off. It's a little cheesy at times but does have a lot of good info in it.

This is a large paperback book, with 150 pages and lots of colourful photographs and illustrations. It is linked to the “Finding Bigfoot” show on Animal Planet and, with both my son and nephew having a Bigfoot/Yeti obsession, this is the perfect book for them to pore over.The book has ten chapters: Does Bigfoot Exist?, A Look at the Evidence, Bigfoot Around the World, Home Smelly Home, Famous Bigfoot Hunters, Ready, Set, Squatch!, Bigfoot Spotted, The Science of Sasquatch, Biggest Bigfoot Hoaxes and Extras.From Bigfoot tracks, to where to find this elusive creature to reported sightings, this is a fantastic read for anyone with an interest in either the show or Bigfoot generally. Nicely laid out and perfect for ages 7+ to read alone.

Great book for my Bigfoot obsessed nine year old. Although he does view it as scientific fact now.

got the audio book bean fascinated with bigfoot from a kid its read by cliff barackman from the team and it is read well full of the history of the hairy man of the woods I sit on the fence about it all but I want to believe its one for the fan its a good story and read with passion and entertaining from some one who does believe
