Flavor:Kale Flour Kale is considered one of the world’s most powerful superfoods for very good reasons. It’s packed with antioxidants, which help neutralize free radicals in the body. Just a few ounces provides more than 100 percent of the daily value of vitamins A, C, and K, and it’s low calorie, high in fiber, and fat-free. Kale is high in iron and has a good dose of omega-3 fatty acids, which work as an anti-inflammatory. Kale is delicious. Use it as a spice, use it for breading for chicken, add to your smoothies, soups, meals, and/or bake with it. Add to your favorite recipe – use in bread, pancakes, brownies, cookies, cakes, muffins, waffles, ice creams or smoothies for an extra boost of nutrition and flavor. Suggestions: Spaghetti Sauce – I sprinkle in 2 TB Meatloaf or other casserole dishes – I sprinkle what looks to be a good amount liberally throughout mix or casserole. I eyeball it. Eggs – use it in scrambled eggs. Salads – I use it as a sprinkle on top of my salads if I can’t get fresh kale to add to the mix. Garnish – I garnish my dishes with this. I know most people will use fresh chopped parsley because of its ‘brightness’, but I choose to add a little extra boost of nutrition with kale. Smoothies – if I don’t have fresh or frozen kale left, I will use the powder, instead, and do a tablespoon per person 8 oz. Expensive flours that don't work.
I loved the idea of baking something healthy with Hearthy's Yam Flour, Apple flour, or Banana Flour, but I absolutely could not make it work. I have a gluten intolerance, as well as a carb intolerance, and these flours would have allowed me to still have baked goods that my body can tolerate. These flours do not rise well at all, therefore, everything I attempted to make fell, wasting precious, and very expensive ingredients. The very first time my baked goods fell, I contacted the company, asking for help, and instead they sent me replacement flour for what had been wasted, and told me to keep baking. The second time my baked goods fell, I conacted them again, asking what I was doing wrong that was causing my issues, they again said they would send more flour, but did not, they also still didn't answer my question; I have four full containers of these flours that will eventually go in the trash because they are not good for baking, so for these reasons, I absolutely cannot recommend Hearthy flours to anybody.

Taste is great!
I use this flour to make pancakes, scones. And banana bread! It’s easy to use and is a great substitute for those of us who are gluten sensitive! I love all your flours!

The packaging is great and the product looks (visibly) great
The packaging is great and the product looks (visibly) great! Will update on taste next weekend! Pancakes are planned! Update: Pancakes were delicious. We mixed it with amaranth flour and BAM, we have an iconic Saturday! Best pancakes Ever. Is now a staple ingredient in our household!

Yummy and Pure
My daughter and I used this to make pancakes using two eggs, 1/3 cup of the sweet potato flour, one teaspoon of olive oil or oil of your choice and I sweetened it with just a pinch of stevia. It was really good and she likes to eat these pancakes. Very picky eater and I don't just feed her healthy stuff LOL, although I do try, she does really like the pancakes made with the sweet potato flour. Highly recommended

Hard as a rock
I Have ordered these in the past with no problems. The last two I have ordered have been hard as bricks. I tried to pound and roll them back into a powder, but it’s just not the same. Very disappointed.

Great replacement for sugar
It's a great sugar replacement. I use it in making breads, very little. Replaces the honey occasionally. I recommend it for its nutrient value too.

Apple flour taste great just with out the worms
Beware of this Apple flour it comes with worms. My first one I believed it was okbut my second one was extremely hard and the color was different little holes all through it, so I Threw it away. My neighbor ordered one and showed me these tiny tiny worms totally disgusting. I can't bare to think I have been baking muffins for my 84 year old mother.
