Reliable, Versatile, and Long-Lasting
MITCH by Paul Mitchell Reformer Texture Cream is a great hair product that I've been using for years. It offers the perfect blend of strong hold and a matte texture that doesn't get too oily, which is ideal for anyone looking for a natural, non-greasy finish. This cream works particularly well for fine to medium hair types, giving it volume and control without weighing it down. Whether I'm heading out for the day or playing soccer in the evening, the product holds up well and keeps my hair in place. One of the standout features is its versatility—it's suitable for both casual wear and active situations, maintaining its performance throughout. While the 3 oz size could run out quickly for daily users, a little goes a long way. Overall, it's a solid, long-lasting product that consistently delivers excellent results.

Great product - no greasy look
I have been using the Reformer for a few weeks now and I am very impressed with the results. This product is great for adding volume and texture to my hair without making it look greasy or stiff. It has a matte finish that gives me a natural and effortless look. The product is easy to use and a little goes a long way. I just work a small amount into my hands and distribute it through my damp or dry hair, depending on the level of hold I want. The product is flexible and allows me to restyle my hair throughout the day. It also washes out easily with shampoo.Overall, I think this is a great product for anyone who wants to add some volume and texture to their hair. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Really got a hold on me
I typically hold my hair in place using American Crew gel, which has always done a good job for me. On a recent trip I forgot to pack my gel, and a friend let me use his Mitch Putty. I have to say, I was impressed, and immediately bought a tin when I returned home. This product does a great job holding my hair in place, and it's much better for travel than a large tube of gel. Takes up less space in my shaving kit, and seems less likely to leak out since it's more of a solid than a liquid.Does the job, seems really nice. Highly recommend.

Defective product with grainy texture
I've been using this product for a couple of years now. After moving to a different city, I couldn't find it anywhere locally, so I decided to buy it off Amazon... big mistake!I was running low on my cream, so I bought it in advance. I thought I had only a few weeks left, but it turn out to be almost two months left before I used the new product I ordered here. Once I opened, it had a very grainy consistency that I couldn't get rid off, no matter how hard I smooshed it between my fingers. I still used it, and it made me look like I had dandruff! Because I didn't open the product as soon as it arrived, the return time had past and now I'm stuck with a bad product.I would never buy this product on Amazon again! At least with a local retailer, I could have taken it back and get a replacement for sure. Now, I'm on the process of trying to find another good hair product that I can buy locally

PURCHASE THIS ONE
I’m an idiot. I bought the matteral instead of this and thought I got a fake. And I didn’t return within the window because I was still finishing my previous jar of reformer. But the scent and hold of matteral is awful to be honest.I’ve purchased reformer 7 times on Amazon and like 4 other times from my barber. It lasts forever if your hair isn’t super long. When I let my hair go it works, but takes way more of this too handle it.The true reformer smells incredible and holds perfect. Strong, but “reformable”, matte but present, sleek but subtle. It’s perfect. My current jar is almost done and I’m ordering another since the matteral I accidentally ordered won’t do. I’ve tried many hair products before, this is the best. I use reformer every day unless I wear a hat.

Mitch Reformer > other products
I have the popular hairstyle where it's short on the sides and back, then fades up to longer hair on top and kinda spiky/swooped - like Adam Levine: http://us.cdn281.fansshare.com/photos/adamlevine/adam-levine-wallpaper-1034979375.jpgI have tried what some consider to be the top 3 options on Amazon: Paul Mitchell Mitch Reformer, Tigi Bed Head Matte Separation Wax, and American Crew Fiber. I believe Mitch Reformer to be the superior option of the 3 for my hair and style. I am looking for something that I can style outside the range of 5 seconds after putting it in my hands, something that won't shine my hair at all, something that will hold throughout the day, and something that will rinse off easily. Mitch Reformer does all these things, though not so much hold great throughout the day.The problem with Tigi Bed Head is that it's too sticky and hard to style because of it. It does well with holding throughout the day and leaves my hair with the matte finish, but if I can't style it the way I want, it's not going to pass my test. Rinsing it off takes a little work too, it doesn't come off as easily as the Mitch Reformer. The problem with American Crew Fiber is a couple things. Not only is it too sticky, leaving it hard to style, but it's also a little more shine on my hair than I want. This was by far the worst to rinse off. There is no way I can recommend American Crew Fiber because of these things. The solution I have came up with to make the Mitch Reformer hold a little better throughout the day is touch it with a little hair spray and you're good to go. I would definitely recommend Mitch Reformer out of the 3 products I tried. Definitely the best of the 3. And the smell doesn't bother me at all - I actually kinda preferred it.

Good product
Good product. Serves its purpose with a good smell and the hair looks less cluttered and has a professional look after usage.
