DC Super Hero Girls Wonder Woman 12" Action Doll

A very good quality product. Bought it for a niece. She loved it. Heck I loved it. Wonder Woman (DC Superhero girls version or not) is cool.For the parents that don't know, DC Superhero Girls brand is DC Superheroes as teenagers at a Superhero Highschool with humor and hijinks.Anyhow, the toy is fairly durable, but that is entirely dependent on the level of rough play. It is not a Vibranium-alloy toy. It is plastic.Head is rubbery. Body is plastic-y.Many points of articulation like shoulders, thighs, elbows, knees, wrists, etc. So quite posable. Hands can grip the lasso.Hair strands are very pretty and luxurious. Like a shampoo commercial. Good quality. But make sure to not comb it else you may wind up with bed-head wonder woman or balding wonder woman. Actually, bed-head wonder woman is inevitable unless you keep it neatly after play (like that is happening).She lacks a shield and sword which is what was noted by my niece. So yeah manufacturers, girls also want swords and shields for their hero icons.Lasso is flexible and holds shape like a wire and snaps onto her belt.Shoes, belt, tiara, etc. are plastic.Clothes are cloth.Clothes, shoes, etc. are removable. Are they washable or machine-washable? I don't know. Handwash if at all. Wait for the inevitable coke spill to test this theory.Also removable clothes can lead to the common list of issues such as the naked doll tossed in the corner somewhere, tears and frays in the cloth, the "I can't do it myself so can you remove it her clothes... okay now can you put it back on... can you remove them again... can you put them on again" sequence. Say no to that to avoid the issue I think.Six-year-old is likely to mess up the toy, while the ten-year-old will keep it in good condition. If it is for yourself please treat it well.Is it a worthwhile buy? Definitely.Good product and the show is an attempt at giving younger girls strong relatable superhero role models.

If you get none of the others in this line, get this one. I don't know how one can resist Supergirl but to each, their own. Now, this figure is flat out amazing. The figure, the design, the style are all excellent representations of a Wonder Woman still in development. Does anyone remember when that Wonder Woman pilot was being developed? The Internet lost their collective marbles over Wonder Woman in pants. But these pants look great, imo. In person they have a sparkling shine to them that's difficult to capture in photos. The darker blue stripe that runs down the outside of the leg is excellent contrast to the stars that follow in a line.While the belt is loose, I choose to view that as a deliberate choice. It doesn't quite fit because she's not quite grown up. It could also be a stylistic choice. I'm less impressed by the shoulder pad/shield/guard. Even though it clearly makes a WW in a distinctly eagle-like form, it doesn't sit very steadily on the shoulders. Perhaps this will be something addressed in the show with her constantly having to readjust it.All of her accessories are removable, if you so choose. Some of the clothing from other doll lines in similar sizes will undoubtedly fit (perhaps with a little modification). But pants will be tricky because this figure has full sized feet in a wedge. Good luck getting pants over that (though that could be tailored). I doubt that any one should have much trouble finding an appropriate "Diana" look for this figure.My favorite feature is the blue and black streaks in her hair. This is an obvious homage to her appearance in comic books when blue highlights were used to help show the difference between black hair and shadow. This is a very nice touch and it gives the character a whimsey that is often not seen in other representations.The one drawback I have is the construction of the lasso. The plastic cord is too stiff and is difficult to work with. It looks good when posed, but it's not that much fun to play with (not I do such things). I will probably purchase a suitable length of gold-like chain and see if that's an improvement.Highly, highly recommended for anyone who is a fan of Wonder Woman

This doll is adorable! My daughter loves Barbie dolls and has recently become a fan of marvel characters but the selection has always seemed to be more for boys so when I came across this wonder woman doll I thought it would be a great way for her to combine her love for both Barbie and super heroes. The doll is a good size at 12" and made of sturdy plastic and rubber. This doll is bendable with several different poses. The outfit is bright and colorful with great detail and includes wrist cuffs, tiara and a Lasso that are removable. The detail on the face is beautiful and I really like the added blue streaks in her hair. I am planning on getting her the other dolls in this series, This is a perfect doll for any child that likes to play super hero. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this item.

This was a nice doll for my 5 year old niece, not very complicated and not a lot of small pieces for my sister to clean up. It's not deluxe and I'm glad i got her a few other things to go with it. The packaging looked as though it had been altered to fit in the shipping box.
