San Giuliano Freshly Stone Crushed Unfiltered Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 33.8-Ounce

I'm Italian and cook with heavy and light olive oils. I'm just trying to help someone select olive oilWhatever olive oil you choose make sure its not mixed with oils from other countries. This is how cheap oil is made or fortified. The brand should only have oil from a local region. Price is not necessarily a factor. I have tasted $50 a pint oil I would not lubricate my car with. Whatever taste "you" like is good oil. I truly believe all Mediterranean countries make great oil; Italy, Spain, Greece, Morocco and Israel to mention a few. Make sure the Extra Virgin Oil you pick is green in color and unfiltered will be a little cloudy.San Giuliano is a very tasty product and reasonably priced for the volume of oil.Use this oil for finishing your salads and dipping.Its almost too good to cook with. i will purchase again!

This family owned San Giulano, Sardinian producer of EVOO is a must have. The robust depth of flavor coupled with the deep green color alone speak volumes. But the taste, oh that mouthful of raw olives and sweet greens combined with a serious, yet short lived pepper kick at back of the throat, makes this little gem of a true EVOO in the "I will never run out of this, ever" category. Love this, love Sardinia, love the extraction process and, of course, the finished product. This unfiltered EVOO at this price is a must have for all serious chefs or in my case, for the regular everyday head of household cook. Bellissima!

I always buy EVOO when I buy olive oil. I saw an unfiltered bottle for the first time at a local Italian deli/market and they wanted $30 for theirs. A little too much for me then. I searched on Amazon and found this. It is nice and cloudy and brimming with nutrients and healthy fats. The taste is a bit sharp, almost spicy at the end. I never cook with it, but use it on salads and in my smoothies along with other healthy virgin oils. I would definitely buy again.

It took at least a month to get my product and seller was contacted. They did make good but, will reconsider next time.

This is by far the best olive oil we have ever tasted, and we will be ordering this product as long as it is available.We always have been buying organic and unfiltered olive oils, and we found some very fine oils. However, this olive oil puts them all to shame...The oil is green in color, it smells incredibly fresh and light, and the taste is incredible. We never cook with it; we use a different olive oil (also organic, virgin, and unfiltered), because the San Giuliano Freshly Stone Crushed Unfiltered Extra Virgin Olive Oil tastes way too good to have the taste altered by cooking with it. We eat a lot of salads and pasta, and we love dipping fresh bread in this oil. It is out-of-this-world-delicious. In addition, this oils costs half of what we normally pay for a 33.8oz bottle of olive oil..!Highly recommend this product.

it's definitely become the family favorite for salads or dips. has an awesome flavor, much better than all these olive oils I''ve gotten at the speciality oil&vinegar stores. has a lovely nutty aftertaste and it takes very little quantity to get the effect. it's not what we use for regular cooking, too expensive, but as a yummy lovely treat or on salads it goes a long way. I'd highly recommend it.

Good Stuff. This is the best olive oil I have ever tasted. It was first given to me as a gift and I loved it from first taste. Looked in stores for it was unable to find it. Saved the bottle so I could look online for it and found it on Amazon. Have ordered 3 bottles so far and am about to order more because it is almost gone. I love the good strong unfiltered flavor on salads. Its wonderful on tomatoes and cucumbers with a little sea salt.

I have lived in Naples Italy, Sigonella Sicily and Rota Spain. I have eaten unfiltered olive oil for many years from 1974 to now. This unfiltered olive has a rancid taste and odor. The color looks good but the taste is aweful or at least this bottle that I received was way beyond it's shelf life, etc.; something is not authentic tasting. The unfiltered olive oils that I have previously had were authentic in taste and smell. I am thoroughly disgusted with spending $17.00 for this bottle of rancid olive oil.I had to give a star so I gave one star for appearance only bottle namely good advertising but not for product quality or taste factor.
