Easy to set up and an effective way of installing 4 smart sockets at once. The app provides a lot of flexibility and shows the energy consumption for each device connected. Happy so far.

Apple home user and really impressed. This was super easy to set up using the Apple home app. It works perfectly and is very responsive for on / off control. No energy monitoring without the TaPo app but I don’t need it personally. Automations and scenes work as expected. Built in surge protection is a great plus too. Plugs can all be independently controlled or bundled and grouped together. The 4 plug strip is great value for money and much cheaper than buying 4 independent smart plugs. While it’s only day one for me… I’m really happy with this!

I have moved away from other brands to Tapo as there products are easy to set up and reliable. Great value for money, a lot cheaper than comparable brands. A great multi socket plug where you can name and control easch switch through your house system (Alexa). Same size as a non-smart multi socket plug.

Good product if you have a number of appliances in a corner. Each socket switched separately via Tapo app each has power monitoring and during installation if you have other Tapo monitoring plugs the tarrifs will be copied across. Relays sound substantial. I found setup best via Alexa app. Oh and if you use a charger in it settings will turn it off when charged.

I've been using tapo smart plugs for years now and what I ideally needed was an extension cord with built in smart functionality. There were others on the market but didn't trust their online eco system. With Tapo being a trusted brand of mine I was absolutely delighted to see this Tapo product. I bought two of these. Syncs with the Tapo app. Same functionality as Tapo plugs as in timers and automations for individual sockets and also has a smart power feature for example it will detect when your phone has been fully charged and so with go ahead and switch it off. I thought that was quite nifty but you do have to set it up for example when it uses 1 Watt for 1 minute for example then switch off. It really is a great sturdy quality product. Oh you won't be disappointed A+

I bought this mainly to monitor the power usage of computer equipment, some of which runs 24/7. Using the Tapo app, which also sees Kasa devices, is pretty good and this power strip was setup in the app in no time. It's Alexa compatible and so it's easy to create routines to switch on/off individual or all sockets.The extension lead is positioned under a desk, so pretty awkward to get at. I haven't bothered switching the computer equipment off in the past because of this. But now it's super easy by using the Tapo app on my phone or giving Alexa a voice command.In addition the app allows for timers and schedules to be created which add to the functionality.The wiring and the extension feel quality. If it were to be improved on, I'd add a couple of USB charge sockets, like those on its sister Kasa version. Although this strip has 4 13 amp sockets while the Kasa version has only 3.

The Tapo App can be temperamental, especially when assigning names to devices or devices to locations.I have Tapo cameras and WiFi switches but often the App will not assign a switch to the room I select and once the switch has been named, it will not let me rename it again unless I reset and start again, silly.Also it will say "Local Only" and to get rid of that, I have to turn the WiFi connection on my mobile off so it uses mobile data, then the "Local only" message disappears and all is ok.These strip sockets work well but the little white LED that indicates the socket is on, is covered by the plug, depending on the size of the plug. So in summary, these are good but the App can be flakey. Time will tell if they last longer than other makes.

I use this in my office when working from home.I have it connected to a motion sensor to turn on in the morning when I enter the room then when there’s no power running to my laptop as it’s switched off all sockets are switched off.Bought as the plug socket is awkward to reach and I got sick of having to crawl under the desk to turn it on/off every day.Each plug socket can be switched manually on and off with a button or through the Tapo App.You can also schedule these to turn on and off automatically to save power, as well as monitor the energy output.Really easy to connect to the app so well worth the price.The design is fairly compact - I do think having a bit more room between plug sockets would be more beneficial for ease of use taking them out but they do all fit and I’ve got some big plugs.
